Gameplay of Ryu and Roy were leaked a day before their reveal, along with Dreamland 64 and Suzaku Castle.

I feel like this time around though they are keeping a fuck ton under lock and key. Even the "trustworthy" Leakers we have are only able to say like three characters. Unnamed Pokemon and unnamed Square Enix character and an echo.

I like imagining a scenario in which Sakurai modeled, animated, and programmed an entire character on his own just to prevent leaks. Like he decided to add Banjo and didn't even bother to notify Phil Spencer or Microsoft's lawyers, just sort of did all the work and decided to ask for forgiveness rather than permission.

If Street Fighter and Final Fantasy is to go by, my guess would be "DM" in the style of the doom logo.

I think if a character from any shooter gets in it would probably be a third person shooter since they tend to have a bit more personality (visually) and more animations to get inspiration from

I have a question for the thread, just to see where people stand. Let's say you're having a normal day postin on Facepunch when there's a knock on the door. You open it up and there's a envelope from Mr. Sakurai himself. The contents? It's Smash Ultimates final roster. Included are pictures and links to footage that cannot be disproven. There's even handy instructions on how to upload it if you feel the need to leak everything. Would you leak the pictures/videos knowing full well you'll be spoiling the game for countless people or would you keep it under your hat and just be satisfied with knowledge?

I would like to say I wouldn't, but I would probably leak at least a thing or two

id use the knowledge to make godawful photoshops then watch people shit their pants when they're all proven right
