Since I pre-loaded I saw that the game was ready to play for me, which got me all excited until I remembered that I had to go to work. Am on my break now just counting the hours down until I can return home and play.
Oh jezz, people where right about the options for cas. I could probably figure out something though when i put more time into it.
You know what would be great? More weapon styles. Like all that stuff from SC3 like the Dagger Bombs, the Kicking Blades and the mother fucking Tambourines.
I think i'll stick with learning Talim and learning not to do her jumping forward flip every time i start attacking. That's really asking for trouble. I think i need to sit down and figure out who else to play as. Maybe someone with range.
Cant wait for everyone to share their creations.

Btw, can you transfer a created character into Libra? Or do you have to re-create it once you get the option to?

Seems the games cheese moveset belongs to Voldo and his turbo crawling charge online. It stunlocks like a bitch if he starts to chain hits together but you can either sidestep or low block. It does have a follow up they can use if you are wise enough to block which seems to be a mid high?
Best to low block and then immediately sidestep afterward. But trying to get Voldo out of that stance seems luck based if you can kick him first before he charges again. If you're next to the edge and you sidestep, Voldo is just going to Wylie Coyote himself off the arena like a dumb fuck.
Of course you have to worry about all that othet Voldo Nonsense that Voldo does but all the ones I've seen today have immediately went into the turbo backwards crawl shit and then stomped on the gas.

The race options are just so lackluster and unnecessary. I'd rather they added more items.
The lizardman option is just pathetic. Close to EVERY ITEM you put on the lizardman clips straight through the body. Not that there's a lot to choose with that race anyway. It could have been prevented by just scaling or moving the item in a direction, but they didn't even bother checking that. It's really sad.
Yeah, there's no way in hell the race options make up for the shit ton of items that got cut. I thought they were kinda neat when I first saw the feature, but it's not like I was going to be using any of them regularly other than the human option.
The only thing that disappoints me right now are the preset faces that you can't change the shape of. Or maybe I'm blind and not seeing anything.
I'm trying to create a shitty version of Guy Fieri, and none of the faces look remotely close to his goddammit.
I think what makes this worst is that the closest thing we have to facial hair are the variations of some of the face presets.
We've had this sort of system with faces since Soul Calibur 4 (3 if you don't count the facial hair, which in that game was an actual option that's independent from whatever face preset you picked). You'd think they would have fixed this issue after a decade.
Shit fam coming from the last game i've regularly played being SC2 i'm having loads of fun with this creator, spent more time with it pumping out dudes than i have actually fighting.
I played my first match of Online with that Fortnite character I made.
And won.
I guess I should start learning a bit of Zasalamel on the side...
How's the netcode on pc?
I played a couple 4 bar matches and it was smooth as butter.
A bit iffy at times for me with friends who average 3-4 bars, but nowhere near unplayable. Most of the time it's pretty smooth.
Also, just gonna say, the downtime between matches is super small on PC at least. Comparing this to how slow Tekken 7 could be, even on PC, is pretty much night and day. Makes it hard for me and my friends to stop playing (which is a good thing).
Overall, I'm just so happy with this game. I feel like a kid playing SC2 and SC3 again.
Do you unlock more clothing items over time? So far what I've seen is pretty lacking. I want a tuxedo or something wacky.
VI is the first SC game I'm taking seriously, and for some reason I'm jiving with Ivy. I even managed to get Calamity Symphony's input down to five spins of the stick!
so Lizardman really did end up getting shafted for launch roster after all? fuck that blows, i played that character so much back in the SC2 days, but o well at least Cerevantes is still in.
Lizardman was my main going all the way back to sc1. Pretty bummed he's just fucking gone
I mean i get the loss of a staple character and i enjoyed playing him as well and all but aside from 5 hasn't he basically always been aping Sophitia? You can literally make your own Lizardman and slap that moveset on him.
