To be devil's advocate Jill has all but said the Source engine can barely handle TF2 anymore, if something explodes every time they add anything they don't have the manpower to fix it in a timely manner. Of course Scream Fortress X barely added anything that's not part of the economy and only had two bug fixes.

It's been a year and the DF still shoots hundreds of particle effects at once and lags the game, every time you fire it.

Not an excuse. As someone who's worked with Source for a long time, managing a server-side all-client CTD with something like a fucking taunt, something that uses only bonemerging, third-person, animation sequencing, and movement restriction that's a serious cockup. Tell me guys, does it actually hide your arms and legs entirely? Do entities disappear when it crashes the server/client? Because if so it's the same bone scaling issue that made GMod's inflator fatal. Which is.. laughable, because Garry fixed that nearly a decade ago.

Yesterday as soon as i started tf2 after the update hit, i got dropped a new case. After 10+ minutes of trying to make the stea market work for longer than 5 seconds, i was ablw to sell it for $2.50. So that's pretty cool.

The latest Windows 10 Update fixes the focus assist issue. Write to Steam Support, they should give you the Gargoyle.

I have all the updates installed. Yet, after disabling it tf2 restores instantly while it needs 3-10 seconds if focus assistant is enabled. Can't say much about invisible players. Maybe it was fixed by Windows 10 update. I haven't use alt+tab that much in tf2 recently.
