I know I'm gonna be dumbed for this, but I wish the game had neiter halloween nor equip region restrictions. People can already create abominations of loadouts even with restrictions, and I just want to wear the Brutal Bouffant with hats.

I strongly disagree. One of the best and most friendly Heavies I ever pocketed was a player who wore an amazing combination of the Chicken Kiev, the Dadliest Catch, and a Max's Severed Head painted the same color as the other two. I laughed a whole lot when I first saw the combination, and I can only imagine how pissed the player is if they are still playing the game and wearing that combination. What possible reason could you have for removing the ability to do shit like this, as long as it's only possible with Halloween mode enabled?

I fucking hate Brimstone, it's nearly as big of a giant chokepoint as Dustbowl but in Payload form. Oh, plus halloween spells, crit pumpkins and the occasional random boss spawn that only benefits the enemy team.

Opinion time! Which of the new halloween maps is the best one, and which one is the worst one? Write a one sentence explanation as to why you think so.

Best: Either Monster Bash or Cauldron. Monster Bash is a lovingly detailed clusterfuck of a goofy good time, the perfect thing to play for a week or two once a year. Cauldron is just a solid KOTH map with some Halloween gimmicks. Worst: Cursed Cove has a lot of sweet detail, but it's simultaneously too big and too full of chokes, to the point that it just feels like you're killing time until the ship shows up (and even then, you rarely get any big, climactic moments).

I"m Going for Monster Bash, love me some PD maps. I wish there were more ingame.

monster bash or slasher for most best map cover or cauldron for least best map monster bash is like a halloween version of nucleus, except you can't just snipe from one spawn to the other it has the best gimmicks of halloween: spells and underworld slasher is like lakeside, but better cauldron is like a mix of viaduct and lakeside, minus the bosses the layout is too small and too simple, which is what i dislike about maple ridge cove is too big and complex with small pathways and is basically a glorified watergate funny how polarizing the two PD maps are aesthetically all the maps are amazing except gravestone, that's too reminiscent of the other two -stone payload maps

Yeah. I've only played it one time before this year's Halloween event, but you only really need to play it once to immediately tell how garbage it is.

Something that annoys me about Halloween cosmetics is how inconsistent the unique voice lines are for them. With some of them, like Scout and Soldier's zombie souls, you can just spam the unique battle cries to oblivion. Then you got stuff like the Larval Lid, which plays the unique battle cries once in a while, and then you've got cosmetics that just play a battle cry at the beginning of the round, if you're lucky, and never again. I just don't understand why it's like that.

Ya know Monster Mash has made me realise how good a map Nucleus could be for Player Destruction. Circular map with an open middle area? Check, Point that can open and close? Check.

Anyone one else been having severe performance drops since Halloween update? I can't even get stable 60 at times anymore
