My fps actually improved this halloween, at most a 50-60 dip with a big clusterfuck halloween thing, but it could be my config. Do you have any config set up? Maybe it can work at the cost of some sweet graphics.
Still take fall damage in the pit on Monster Bash sometimes.
It seems that many of the helltower items had their equip regions changed. The hallowed headcase no longer allows hats either. While i agree that most hats were atrocious with the kiev, i liked the way it looked with the MK 50. https://i.imgur.com/vJX9fkP.png
Destroying the buildings of an Engineer that builds on the truce with the crits and über from escaping x island feels great. He can rebuild if he wants but in less than 2 minutes another Merasmus will appear and the cycle will continue.
but you can't damage buildings during truce? also you can't pull out your sapper you know, instead of making buildings unsappable, just auto switch away from the weapon
My bad, I mean when the boss is killed, you can go to the loot island, escape and get uber n crits. I make sure the engineer doesn't get there then I run to his buildings and destroy them. The alternative is going demo and sticky his buildings, follow him until the truce ends and destroy the shits.

If you guys are playing pub heavy and thus not expecting a medic all the time, do you prefer Tomislav/Banana or Minigun/Sandvich? Or vice versa?

I second the 50HP Chocolate survivability. I have escaped with sub-50HP after an encounter more times than I care to count. Sandvich is superior if you're actually feeding someone. That said, the choccy recharges really quickly. It can be good for saving Medic from Scorch Shot spam. I've covered this at length before, but minigun choice is very situational for me. Stock: Does what it says on the tin. Really good at close range. More than decent at medium range. Anything past that, I'm being a dick with chip daamge. Or have crits. Or both. Tomis: Meta in Highlander for a reason. Decidedly better at medium range and beyond. Silent "motor" noise is meaningless. Some very skilled Heavies use only this gone. I have never really loved it, I only sort-of like it. Natascha: My personal favorite. Scouts need to die. Demoknights need to die. DR Spies need to work to escape. Jumping classes (especially jetpack pyros) need a course correction. Natascha is not really good at anything objective based. It has the best motor noise and firing sound in the game. Brass: There is a Heavy on the enemy team that has upset me. I'm camping some place super defensive. Like 2Fort. Critical Brass bullets do 32 damage each. I have killed enemy snipers on their own battlements with the Brass before. It is these small moments that bring joy to giant man's heart. Other than those edge cases, this weapon is useless. Huo-Long Heater: Six shades of useless. It punishes Heavy for being spun up. Heavy does fuck-all damage unless he's been spun up for a full second. It's not exactly useful, but amusing when pooshing cart, but ONLY when on the cart. That's now how payload games work. Most of the time Heavy is waddling his way TO the cart. The only use I get out of mine is on one specific trade server where everyone has infinite clip. For all miniguns except for the Tomis: Bind snd_restart to a key. One you can hit easily. Other will still hear your motor noise, but you won't. This is really handy for hearing footsteps and cloak noises. I have been called a hacker meany times for turning around while spun up when I hear a spy behind me.

You want people to run around with 24/7 silhouette breaking pastel animal and brony costumes, more than usual? No. The proper solution is to assess the existing restricted items and unrestrict the ones that clearly don’t conflict with the art style, like the 60s rocket soldier and the mad scientist medic.
This will not happen in 100 stellar lifetimes.
If we don’t discuss or ask for it.
Hope the non-halloween version of most maps end on the rotation. I would love to play them with less crits and pumpkingbombs.

Is it just me or has the Natasha seen a sudden resurgence as of late? I feel like up until a few months ago I'd never see it ever on the field.

It might just be a simple score or casual level average, that has the result of always putting one good player with a team of clueless newbies.
Snd_restart huh? Good idea.
p sure that could result in client desyncs eventually and you'll start getting invisible opponents.
Plus it's an exploit that gives Heavy an unfair advantage when his gun is supposed to be loud.
Dalokohs and whatever minigun i feel like putzing around with at the time. 100 health and an essentially permanent 50 health bonus is nice, especially since i can still win heavy 1v1s while using the natascha.
