Interesting, they showed off a stage for today's [Monday's] post. They usually place them on Tuesdays and have done so since they started showing off stages in July. Perhaps they've got something to announce, tomorrow? (The stage in question is the one for Nintendogs)

Man, I think the dream is dead. The current narrative makes too much sense and I'm convinced that MTP, insane lunatic as he is, is behind the leak. Current narrative as follows

Basically he got handed it a month ago and posted the roster to /v/ and shit on other leakers because in his eyes he had personal proof from the pictures that it was real and his brain worms were going crazy. He then started his youtube page discussing smash leaks the same day to hint towards the Grinch leak and was claiming for over a month he was the dorf poster. In his (now deleted) video he claimed that 45 days from the games release there would be a bombshell leak using his stupid lingo and surprise 45 days later Grinch leak happened (which he posted to /v/ himself).
Like the dude is a legit psychopath but it honestly lines up with him and his sudden massive back pedaling and deleting videos to try and cover himself after strongly claiming responsibility for the leak is just a bit too much.
Okay but how did this random Rosalina buying weirdo get it in the first place? That's like somebody giving Chris-Chan the design documents for the next Sonic game.
Who knows. He was claiming it was real up until people went "dude you can get sued" and now he doesn't want to talk about it anymore, he deleted his original video and is having a meltdown on twitter and youtube about it.
But it lines up. He got the screenshot the same day dorf leak went live, and it was also the same day he started his video series (where he only uses Ganondorf footage). He called the date Grinch would go live. The dorf post sounds like one of his autistic meltdowns in the first place (superiority complex and whatnot). Him being friends with people who share the same exact name as the people tied to the leak. (Well first names) and more.
He's shitting on "insiders" because he 100% believes in the snapchat and thinks he's better than them which he's done in the past with Game Grumps and other channels or personalities bigger than him. Even if he's right and the leak is real he is almost 100% the guy who posted the leaks.
We have been talking about it in the discord. This seems like the best TLDR right now.

Yeah, don't want to say it's hard disproven or anything like that but this all sounds likely to me. Either way be careful of the hype fellow FP'ers.
So what I'm wondering is, even if it is this guy that leaked it, why does that make it not real? If he got his hands on a leak and didn't make it public right away that doesn't disprove the leak, it just means he didn't leak it right away.
But yeah I don't think this is anywhere near enough to prove it is fake. If anything all this claims is that MTP found the leak and released it to the public himself. But he isn't the guy that taped it.
I've been saying this all day, I have history with MTP and i can tell you this guy is a Cannibal troll with a revolving door of ideals, i'm going to be straight with you and tell you that. if you don't believe me. I can pull some proof of my time dealing with him as a annoying kid.
It's mostly because the dude is confirmed to be a actual psychopath that would spend close to 40,000 bucks just to piss people off. Like this is a thing that actually happened. With him frequently having mental breakdowns every other day and going absolutely insane finding out he's the one who posted the leak should make anyone extremely cautious because the guy is legit crazy. Like he needs genuine help crazy.
Tbh if I had a convincing fake leak on my hands and had no moral compass, I'd probably hand it over to a demonstrably crazy guy just to see what he did with it. This situation is still extremely bizarre but I'm definitely seeing some holes in the leak.

Even if it was him, it still doesn't explain the incredible effort that'd be needed to pull off the image.
Eh, people have been able to move characters, add things and more. If he has these connections and is proven to throw away money just for a reaction then it all kinda goes out the window.
It's also credible because of all the circumstances around it pointing to it being connected. Like maybe he got leaked real info but he's connected *almost* for sure.
Nothing goes out the window til we get another character on the banner, real or fake.
Maybe they dropped the stage early this week so that they could have an individual trailer happen tomorrow so that it takes up the weekly music slot.

Honestly the ultimate take away is that Grinch leak might not be as bulletproof as people liked to act and should really- really join me on the fence for now. Hope we get a direct now to put it to bed.
I think the reason why everyone is latching onto Team Fake right now based on that very untrustworthy guy is purely on our own pessimism. It's why I posted those tweets "explaining" reasons why it's supposedly fake, I feel like it's too good to be true so I look for easy ways to deny it. I hope they talk reveals soon because I don't like being so negative
Sidenote, based on the game awards talk that was had earlier- that will absolutely have Metroid Prime 4 on the main stage, possibly with prime trilogy ports similar to Bayo 1+2's announcement last year, with smash being fully revealed much earlier

I'm on the fence because I'd hate to be 100% in belief it's real and be crushed if it ends up not true, but, fucking certainly not because of some mentally unstable lied-in-the-past nutjob says that he's the one behind it all or is acting like it's him in some capacity.
