To be fair I'll be really surprised if there's no new music in the direct for something.

It'll likely be like the August direct where there will be music on the blog on the same day as the direct.

I'm in full belief that this leak is real at this point. If it's fake, Explaining it will be a huge headache. but outside of that, Here's what i hope for the Direct! BREAK THE TARGETS COMES BACK BOARD THE PLATFORM IS REVIVED ONLINE DEMO IS CONFIRMED WITH LIMITED ROSTER SPIRITS MODE IS AMAZING IT STARTS WITH ISAAC AND STUFF and that's it.

Real-talk, I just really want Smash Run to be back and better than ever(tm). More options for customizing the experience, like being able to choose what minigames can show up at the end, having all the characters exist on a single map so the map function isn't completely useless like it was in Sm4sh, maybe tweak the power-ups a tad so they're more all-around balanced, and of course, add more actual combat minigames.

No music blogpost yet. I'm not saying we're getting new franchises tomorrow. But we're getting a new franchise tomorrow. It'll have new music. The last time this happened was with Castlevania. It's H A P P E N I N G.

I'm hoping they show some of the new Final Smashes for characters that haven't been shown yet like Young Link and Peach.

WAIT a second. Is the direct tomorrow, or the day after? Nintendo of America said Thursday, November 1st at different times of the morning depending on where you live, while Nintendo of Japan said Wednesday, November 1st at 11 o'clock at night (They used military, so 23:00) But they also said 9 o'clock Pacific Standard, which means it might take place in the morning???? Why do time zones become confusing once I actually begin to think about them!

I can almost guarantee that if it isn't the same as base Link's final smash, it'll be something involving the Fierce Deity mask.

It's the most logical thing, but since Young Link is still using his Ocarina of Time look (OoT Kokiri Sword and Deku Shield rather than the redesign Kokiri Sword and Hero shield from MM), it might just have the Triforce Slash thing if their intention is to have Young Link play as the old Link as Ultimate Link has very significant changes.

I seriously can't wait for this guy's "credibility" to be completely destroyed. Everyone believing his stuff honestly killed most of the hype for smash for me until the Grinch leak came out. Because no one was allowed to speculate about anything because it was always killed off with a "well verge said this"

The only reason people believe him is because he got a couple of things right about Ryu (?) during the Sm4sh era.

I don't know what or who to believe any more. Every leaker and insider has a different list of who is playable, who is an assist, and who never even appears in the game at all. I'm starting to think Nintendo actually went bonkers and disseminated false information to confuse everyone. I think I'm gonna have to turn off my brain and just wait until Thursday, because that's probably the only way I'll remain sane. Although it's worth noting that nothing has deconfirmed the sweet bandana boi yet, so clearly I just need to have hope.

I just know I don't believe people whose sources are "an insider source" because that's just the modern internet equivalent of "my uncle works at nintendo he said darth vader's in smash as a goku echo"

Wait I just realized that's Verge himself, is he really using fucking Emily Rogers as a source now? This is just becoming sad.

Verg's been right on some things while being wrong on others, but at this point I really want him and other "reliable sources" get BTFO'd. Just a mess of "leaks" and dick-measuring. I'll be happy with the Direct regardless of the outcome.

I'm still waiting for Zero, Tails, and Phoenix Wright to be playable like he claims and a bunch of characters from Smash 4 being cut to be readded as DLC like he claimed.

I find it intriguing that there hasn't been word on anything besides characters. Nothing on the modes or CoroCoro's purported five stages. To step away from character speculation, I really hope the stage builder comes back once again. I'd actually prefer a return to Brawl's tile-based system, since it felt much more consistent than Smash 4's drawn stages. I've seen others take note of how each stage's background seems separated from the stage itself this time around, so it'd be extra neat if we could select any stage's background for use in the stage builder. I'd make so many stages with Rainbow Cruise's background.

If this leak is fake, which I'm pretty sure isn't, I would like for the leaker to at least come forward after all this mess is over so we can get good looks at those renders. They all seem very lively.
