Melee was one of the first games I owned back when I got my Gamecube as a gift from a close friend of mine; and I feel like it was responsible for sparking my interest in most of the Nintendo franchises. Melee's trophies are honestly the highlight of the game for me, and I really hope we see some interesting representation in Ultimate.

I had another thought about the leak and the leakers, and as difficult as it is to say, the leak isn't the biggest news. All of the newcomers so far (Inkling, Ridley, K. Rool, Simon, Daisy, Chrom, Dark Samus, Ricter and Isabelle) were all topping the lists people made when casting votes for the Smash Ballot. When it was made clear what Echo Fighters were when Daisy was announced Ken and Shadow were some of the first characters people thought of. Then you have Mach Rider, Banjo and Geno, who were named specifically in interviews with Sakurai. To me, the big news for this game is "Everyone is here!" when the return of characters that were missing from Brawl and 4, and which no leaker had even said that was happening. Sakurai even mentioned it, saying he was glad no one took their 15 minutes of fame to announce the return of Pichu, Young Link, Wolf, Ice Climbers, Pokemon Trainer and Snake. Seeing as how everyone is crawling out of the cupboards to declare the banner a falsity either means one of two things: They were willing to not get their 15 minutes in the spotlight because they were asked to not leak something they assure everyone they have access to right now, or they have been lying out their butts this entire time.

Every leak is false because the direct is 40 minutes of Sakurai doing fortnite dances and at the very end he confirms he himself is in the game in hyper-realistic form, my insiders told me
