imo putting sakurai into the game would be pretty neat, even as a trophy or something.
When mii fighters got announced in the last game, people were wondering if the default "fighting X team" would include members of the dev team as miis. I still wish that happened.

You know, in all this character hype, I've completely forgotten that they've only revealed 4 new stages so far
I'm actually pretty excited to see if we get any new ones tomorrow. I'd love to get something totally out of left field, like the Magnet Train from Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal, or City Escape from Sonic Adventure 2.
Assuming the leak is real, I can't imagine we wouldn't get Spiral Mountain and something from Rhythm Heaven at the very least. Ken's Stage would be pretty cool too, considering how they interpreted Suzaku Castle.
Depending on how many new fighters, I expect no more than 5 new stages.
Now, regardless if the leak ends up true or not, i just want Sakurai to talk about Single-Player content, whatever it is.

I'm still holding out hope for Metal Cavern as either a secret stage, revealed tomorrow, or as DLC.

I am sooo disappointed that the Metal Cavern music from Smash 64 never got added to any other game, event he Master Hand battle theme.

Helps that there were no new characters added that I really want to main. I'm also thankful they modified how Ryu works in 1v1s, pulling off true specials was such a pain in sm4sh. Also the purple/pink borders being different dont represent anything beyond "those are my two favorite colors". I use Pink ROB. I hope they bring back the custom moves for Mii Fighter (specially Fighter) because I use shotput neutral, piston punch upper, ZSS jump lower, and whatever side special is legal.

It's pretty good, but it's not a remix of it. I can hear the similarities of the Ho-Oh and Lugia battle themes in HGSS to the main wild battle theme of GSC, but these are two, distinct melodies.
Late reply but I was working so meh.
Shantae is still my most wanted, I just have basically resigned myself to the mindset of: if she's not in the game at launch, and survives being given the AT treatment, there is still DLC.
If she's not in the game in any capacity, Matt and Wayforward have some 'splainin to do because they've gone completely silent on anything Shantae in Smash related since the ballot ended. But I digress.
Tomorrow we'll all have a better idea of who's getting in and who's about to get BTFO'd
