Am I crazy, or is Shadow's page saying his trademark was cancelled on that date, not renewed? That in itself doesn't make much sense, because I don't think SEGA would let that happen.

I think this is as legit as it can get in my opinion. The Ken Leak pic from a while ago was never disproven right?

I have a feeling this might just be for the videogame and not the actual character. Pretty sure SEGA has no need for a trademark of the Shadow the Hedgehog videogame.

The trademark pages aren't gonna be as convincing for characters that are relavant and in modern games. Shadow has been in almost every sonic game since Generations. His trademark being updatwd only makes sense, since he is still SEGA's intellectual properyy. Also sorry if i misspelt shit, i'm at work and typing spoilers on mobile is a pain in the ass.

The really unfortunate thing is that the only reason we're even hyped at the moment is because of a blurry leak that may or may not turn out to be true. If this hadn't happened, we'd be bored out of our minds at the moment. We have yet to find out about the final roster or the purpose of the Spirits mode. This October drought has been awful. I realize that Nintendo aims to maintain the hype until launch, but they really need to release more info soon before some moron at the ESRB/Prima/some game reviewing firm decides to leak everything with video evidence.

I will remember his haunting words after Isabelle's announcement "We were announcing things to fast" I really didn't expect that to mean complete radio silence a month before release.

The dead air since Isabelle's reveal really has been dreadful. I have a hard time feeling bad for Sakurai if the leak is potentially real because everyone's so thirsty for Smash news and he thought it'd be fine to have complete silence for over 2 months before breaking it with a downpour. Like, come on.

Even if the surprise was ruined, if I was Sakurai I'd be ecstatic that people loved the characters so much and keep calling it perfect.

Except you're forgetting that the reason he didn't bother with a SSE 2 in Smash 4 was how it was leaked entirely before release. Everyone kind of loved it, but he was still discouraged because it leaked.

If the hidden gamemode is SSE 2. Thankfully that hasn't leaked at all yet.

My favorite bit is squirtle. "The characters are moved by such slight degrees that it has to be real- it's pointless otherwise!". I imagine the guy making the leak trying to move characters into the right spot and going "yeah that looks right I think" and it just being a blunder that's getting covered up. Then there's the folks that go "the characters all moved to make room, that's literally impossible to move them around or resize them! It would take hours to even try, who would do that other than a actual madman?" -in the same thread- "Here, I spent hours trying to recreate the leak and move everything around- this should prove my point!" Not sayin either way but when I think about those options I kinda can't help but laugh.

I really hope with Ryu now begin in the base game, and now we probably getting Ken aswell + all that new music Makes me hope we are going to get more representation of Street Fighter in terms of trophies or even a assistant
