Within two weeks from release will have gameplay footage leaked. Happens with every game release. I'm sure Nintendo knows that. so I really doubt they would wait for the game awards two days from release to announce the final characters.

I'm surprised we didn't get an October direct just to continue that pattern of two months between the June to August directs.

I have a theory about one of the leaked characters Banjo and Kazooie are going to be announced at a Microsoft Event within the next couple weeks. You see, 10 years ago a Banjo Kazooie game came out called Nuts and Bolts. And there was an Easter egg you can find that said "do you think anyone will remember nuts and bolts in a decade. Come back in 2018 to find out". Well it is now 2018. Nuts and bolts came out on November 11th 2008. Microsoft is hosting X018 November 10th-11th You think it's all a coincidence? Oh yeah more then likely.

So many Nintendo fans are going to watch that Microsoft event lol.

Some other bullshit that I'm too tired to recount but man if it turns out he's the guy behind this I can only imagine the reaction.

To be fair if this was all a hoax done by MariotehPlumber and a friend wouldn't have Nintendo have just said it wasn't real when the leak began to emerge? Also a lot of other companies seem to refuse to talk about it, like Microsoft. They could have said it was false too since Banjo is in the leak.
