So, not to rain on everybody's parade, but I did a little bit of looking into the latest discovery and think that it might be just an unbelievable coincidence rather than the smoking gun that really confirms everything involving the leak. After a bit of digging, I managed to find that the main moving image on the smash brothers website is actually not one big picture, it's rather an image that's split into multiple quadrants. 6 quadrants, to be exact. And it just so happens that quadrant 2 and 3 lines up exactly where the split occurs on both Olimar, and Little Mac. They simply forgot to update the second quadrant to reflect the changes made. Note that only Lucario, Olimar, and Little Mac move as a result of Isabelle's inclusion. None of their positions are updated as a result, and the clip happens. Smash fanbase: Whoever did this leak if fake has 2000IQ, could run the Illuminati and is smarter than most governments! Also the Smash fanbase: Maybe it was the guy that bought 100 Rosalina amiibos because he didn't want other people to own them even though they could just buy them online or at a later time.

People seem to be really desperate to prove this leak fake. And I really don't know if its because people don't want to be disappointed if it is fake, people wanting to rain on other's parades, or they REALLY wanted Steve and Incineroar.

Yeah I mentioned that awhile back There's a lot of stretches and gunjumping happening and all I want is people to temper expectations slightly as a lot of people are getting like... insanely caught up in it being real. I can't wait for the next direct because I think it's the only thing that can calm the horde at this point.

I still don't know how people came up with the idea of Inceniroar becoming an actual character in Smash. I get that he is a wrestler and has a funny T pose move* but I don't see him being that distinctive. I know Greninja could be seen the same way, but at least it become more important later on. Just add Buzzwole or Golisopod if you want a good Gen 7 rep. You can even have a unique mechanic for Golisopod where his rolls become faster the more he takes damage (relates to his Emergency Exit ability). *I know what a lariat is but the move in game is literally him spinning violently in a T pose.

I'm personally skeptic but I want it to be real so bad and it seems more and more likely it'll be Btw is there an equivalent of a pro controller but like a gamecube one? I know they'll sell wired ones in November but playing portably will feel weird if it's not with Gamecube controls

as far as my memory serves, he wasn't reselling them, he was buying them for the sole reason of causing stock problems for people who wanted the amiibo.

Well that is a bit more mentally unstable, but it's not as ridiculous as he's making it out to be, as, again, and especially with those waves of amiibos, Nintendo's low stock for high-cost merchandise is an incredibly commonplace issue.

Inceniroar is Masuda's current favorite pokemon and is pushed as the mascot of this gen for better or worse. He's getting special treatment left and right. Buzz is a funny meme mon but unremarkable outside that and Golisopod, cool as it is, is literally just a random ass pokemon that's only remarkable in that Guzma has one. Jigglypuff aside I don't think any Non-Starter/Legendary/Mascot pokemon is going to get in

Yeah, all pokemon added to Smash have been a generation's mascot, if not the series's mascot. Pikachu, Mewtwo, and Jigglypuff were all mascots of the first gen at one point or another (Jigglypuff before Pikachu, Mewtwo for the first ever theatrical Pokemon movie), Pichu for Gen 2 being a Pikachu pre-volution, Pokemon Trainer and Charizard (and the other starters) being the most popular parts of Gen 1, Lucario being the fifth gen mascot, and Greninja being an X/Y mascot. They wouldn't just add a pokemon willy-nilly, they have the Pokeball for that, and if they're gonna add a Pokemon fighter, it's gonna be one with a unique yet adaptable moveset that could work in the fighting game that Smash is.

pokemon's smash representation has always been very heavily based on the anime, with the exception of pichu (clone) and pokemon trainer (specifically made to represent the games), and incineroar's been set up to be ash's lead current gen starter since the starter final evos leaked way back when and incineroar was the only one that had the anime protags in it's concept art. expecting anything else as a gen 7 rep is just silly.

Well technically Buzzwole would be somewhat unique because he was one the first set of Ultra Beasts of Gen 7 to be revealed, those practically being Legendary Pokemon from another dimension. Also he is one of the main Ultra Beast that can appear in the game (depending on which version you have). Considering how Mewtwo is the only playable Legendary, Buzzwole could also be the first and only playable Ultra Beast, if they manage to somehow add the others in the game, probably via another Pokeball-type item. Plus considering how they literally parallel each other in both theme, type, and even time (Brain vs Brawn, Psychic vs Bug/Fighting, Old vs New), it could be a really interesting addition to the roster. Exciting? Probably not. Expected? Obviously not. But would it make some sort of sense? Yes. It just depends on how they handle the character.
