ledge trumping is still in the game but this time, if you regrab the ledge, even your ledge getup options will have invincibility frames reduced. you can not also regrab the ledge after a certain number of times (5?)
You just know Galeem is going to have that one bullshit attack (like Tabuu's red rings of death) that yeah eventually people will learn around it, but it's going to cause so much grief at first.
It's probably going to include the cinematic character reveal trailers, kinda like what Smash 4, had.
But yeah, here's hoping there's at least 10 or 15 Adventure Mode cutscenes.

So, you guys think that Tabuu will reappear considering how one of the old Subspace bosses was shown? It would probably make some sort of sense considering how those were his creations, I suppose.

I'd be surprised if his Spirit isn't one of the strongest you'll face, in the very least.

It's a bit weird that Yarn Yoshi occupies one of only eight slots when it's so similar to the base color while Fire Mario was dropped seemingly due to the wedding outfit. . . .

Samus and Dark Samus having some matching skins is neat; I know what my amiibos will be wearing...

Don't worry despite the fact she's my most wanted, I'm not gonna bug you all constantly bringing up Shantae stuff here since I know most of you are "meh" about it (unless something big happens down the line like a confirmation), I just like the fact despite whatever the chances may be, Matt Bozon is still rallying the fanbase together.
Really don't think Shantae has a chance unless they give her a shirt.
I don't have anything against another female character. I just hope that one of the 5 characters is Banjo and Kazooie.
Sakurai and team could always redesign/tone her down a bit ala Bayonetta

That's fair. No one's gonna have the same preference.
Long as nobody is mauling anyone over their character wants it's all good.
The "shantae needs more clothes" argument falls flat because of Zero Suit Samus. Tight bodysuits are a lot more revealing than Shantae's outfit, unless Sakurai is really prudish about belly buttons, and the worst for Shantae's outfit is her genie pants having a bikini bottom, otherwise her design isn't overly sexual.

Along the lines of "All right guys let's do this! #ShantaeForFourOutOfTheFiveSmashDLCs !" but he removed the tweet and made another because the hashtag was confusing people.
Personally I still think brawl's main theme is by far the most amazing one in the series. I don't know what it is, the Latin, the melody, something about it just clicks. The new one is great too but Its nowhere close the level of Brawl's.
I disagree only because this theme sounds almost like a mixture of all the Smash themes in one.

This one is waaay better than the last one. It sounds like they're using a full real ensemble this time, or they have hid it really well.
This is shaping up to be my favourite theme, now.
You know that smash 4 originally had a tharja trophy that was removed during development probably for this reason.
For whatever reason, skin tight suits are more acceptable than nudity. I don't agree with it, but its kinda how things are.
Tharja was removed because the pose was of her sticking her ass out in her thong, and potentially because her outfit is literally just a bikini with various layers of see-through cloth. That's insanely different from a bikini bottom being a part of the outfit.
