Super Smash Bros. General v16: Everyone is STICKERS!

Why would Shiek and Zero Suit Samus not return? They're two of the most popular characters in the series
I don't see why people think Wii Fit Trainer would be cut. I think she's in the same tier as Game and Watch, ROB, etc. She isn't a character of timed relevancy, but rather a character promoting a tie in to notable Nintendo hardware that was iconic.

I think you're thinking of this
The Tharja leak from development wasnt particularly lewd. Its just her normal pose.
it's because you can move the camera around while looking at trophies and you can use that to stare very closely at her mostly bare ass. you can't do that with spirits so it should be fine
We need a clip of two Sonics doing this to each other overlayed with the scene from the OVA.
I didn't really hate the TP Ganondorf design but I did think it was time to change it up after seeing for almost a decade. Also the more colorful art direction of Smash 4 did not do him any favors.

Also his Old Wizard TP design really didn't fit his high-movement gameplay. Beefed Gerudo Ganon seems way more fitting considering how much high-intensity movement he does.

Yes, it really is 24 minutes long.
What are people feeling for the DLC characters? I get the sense that they might go all in with the third parties. Metal Gear seems to be getting a bit of love with numerous Spirits and Snake being the only third party besides Sonic to appear in the World of Light intro. I would not be shocked if we got Raiden, or someone else along those lines.
I'm expecting either third party characters or characters from Nintendo IPs that haven't been represented yet (or a little bit of both), considering that each DLC character also comes with a stage.
As for the actual characters themselves, I'm thinking Banjo and Rayman have a pretty decent chance of being DLC. I can also kinda see Steve as DLC happening even though he wouldn't be my first pick. My hopes are that Doomguy will be a DLC character even though I probably shouldn't be holding my breath for him.
For DLC? I'm feeling... All new third party franchises, like in Smash 4's DLC. 5.99 for a new character, stage and music just like Bayonetta/Ryu/Cloud.
"But what about Roy, Lucas and Mewtwo?"
You mean the veterans that are already all in Smash 5? What about them.
"But what about Corrin?"
OK, put in a shill character for one of the DLC packs for good measure.
There's absolutely no reason to appeal to people who already bought the game who are going to buy the DLC solely because it's Smash Bros. They want to reel in as many new audiences as possible. Prepare for Steve, Granblue Fantasy waifu, some third-party game releasing around the same time in need of promotion like Dante and some tie-in to a new Nintendo release.
...I might sound a little cynical, but that's wrong. I'm incredibly cynical.
I hope we get another f-zero rep. Something like Samurai Goroh

Sounds like someone never played Gannon in PM
Hear me out.
Beastman
Beastman is a very good candidate. I'd personally cast my vote for Black Bull, make him a Falcon echo, we'd be able to truly re-enact the best anime scene literally of all time.
And they are wrong
I was thinkin about it earlier and with each character having a themed classic mode, just with assuming the average is 10 fights per character that's 740 different fights with themed rule, map, item and character pairings.
So fuck knows just how many fights there are dedicated to spirits
Also that's a lot of master hands to fight
But what if Toon Ganon
CD-I Ganon .
See in a lot of ways, Piranha Plant was the meanest thing to add, since now ANYTHING seems like fair game.
My "never ever gonna happen" pick was Elite Beat Agents, but I would've guessed even they would get in before a Piranha Plant.
The interesting thing is, we know each DLC fighter is gonna come with a stage, so that can definitely help narrow things down. If I were a gambling man, I'd put money on Monster Hunter; we've already got 3 Capcom reps, Rathalos as a boss/assist trophy, and there's a wealth of material to work with for a moveset/stage/music.
I wanna say Banjo is in there as well, but that may just be wishful thinking. Microsoft is willing to let it happen, so it's all up to Nintendo. Geno would be nice as the last reveal, just to close that chapter on a high note.
Marx would also be really cool, but that's just a personal pick (like the EBA).
Honestly kinda wish they'd release a fighter ballot before launch, like back during E3. Spend half a year gathering consumer feedback, then start crafting the DLC once the game releases. Keep things updated with new stages and balance patches in the meantime, then pump out DLC that is guaranteed to sell.
"YOU WILL DIE."
"No shit, Ganon, everyone's dead."

2018
Unless just saying that doesn't break any NDAs or anything.
So I'm still confused about the "ladder attack" thing.
There are only like 3 stages with ladders in 'em...
People were thinking it was for Adventure Mode, but probably not now...
I may be late on this discussion but I am actually a huge fan of this for the sake of chasing techs/rolls away. So often in Sm4sh when I was going for a read I would end up running past them and I could never get tell what I was doing, so I would throw out a dash attack or a pivot grab basically 50/50 to try and catch them.
