I think doing the very thing that made his race go extinct would be the very last thing he would want to do.

It's all right. As far as single battles are concerned it's just a kid playing with toys. Anything Goes.
Rewatching all the Incineroar and man, all of his animations are just great. Exactly what I wanted from a wrestling heel.
Oh man, I kinda forgot about him. With SpringMan an assist, I really didn't have any idea of who to want really. Ryu would be pretty dope. Not to mention the buttload of remixes, one of them most likely being "Ryu's Determination" Nes Ninja Gaiden had some pretty banging songs. https://youtu.be/jB0D3RN3tkU https://youtu.be/qesS7GGJ0wo https://youtu.be/5ZVCvNW4pb4
When I saw the Fatal Frame assist my first thought was that more Koei related things could show up and maybe we'd get a surprise announcement, but apparently Fatal Frame is co-owned by Nintendo and Koei together. I still hope mr hayabusa comes out as DLC as a result of it though.
He could even have both his classic blue ninja outfit and his modern black outfit. Izuna Drop for Smash!
Isaac, Lyn and Skull Kid say hi. Also, Mach Rider. ;_;
Imagine if it's someone from Final Fantasy 15... with the pocket edition's graphics
I haven't seen a Heihachi Mii costume or heard anything about it. ...You guys think that maybe he could be a fighter!?
He could, but I don't see why that'd change anything. We've got Mii costumes of fighters and Assist Trophies already.
the only truly glaring omission is Dixie Kong. Star of 2 games that sold really well, continues to be a popular supporting character in a really popular series, basically has everything going for her. Last true absent nintendo icon. Isaac isn't a glaring omission at all, assist trophy suits him just fine. Golden Sun is at best an average JRPG, it's not really unique or interesting and everything about it has aged exceptionally poorly. Lyn is one character from an enormous series that already has 7 characters, Skull Kid is popular but minor within his own series, Mach Rider would be cool purely as a retro rep but if Sakurai doesn't feel like doing that there isn't much of an objective argument for their inclusion, and Rhythm Heaven is hard to adapt into a fighting game character. There's characters that probably should be in there because they'd be easy 5 minute echo fighters (Octoling, Proto Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Jeanne, maybe Shadow but he could also be a more unique character) but that's a different argument altogether.
Depends. On one hand, it's a possibility given Nintendo is working with Namco on the game. On the other hand, Heihachi was already in Sony's terrible Smash clone, so I'm sure if Sony wanted to take another shot at trying to make that game again, they'd want to keep Heihachi.

The whole reason Smash Bros Ultimate is using the "Everyone is here!" concept is so Sakurai could kill them all off except for Kirby
can i just say how much of a fucking glow-up Toon Link specifically got from Brawl to Ultimate https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/249352/7d75fc04-a773-4bf0-8028-ff59bf3fc804/image.png https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/249352/8be49534-973e-4d41-9ebd-2a9433366e91/image.png
Not to sound bitchy but one thing I hate about seeing the alt-costumes is how hard they consistently drop the ball when it comes to opportunities. No Outset Link, but Toon Dark Link is here! And NES Link (when he has the Blue Ring equipped) is here!
Real waster opportunity not giving us a LttP pallet, with the pink hair.
Yeah I'm honestly not sure why they felt the need to give all three Links their own Dark Link variants when Dark Link A. hasn't appeared as an actual character since Spirit Tracks and B. does in fact take up room for palettes that could reference other Links, such as the aforementioned LttP palette, or a deep green Tri-force Heroes Toon palette. Also not sure why Toon Link's blue and red palettes don't have matching blue and red hair since that's how they're depicted now thanks to Tri-Force Heroes
I would buy so many costume variants for characters.
Some alt costumes for Link based on BOTW armors would have been neat. I'm at least happy they included the Wild Set
Honestly wasn't expecting too many better alts because of how many fucking character models they had to make already
I have only a few complaints: Charizard goes back to gradients again because it's changed to Squirtle and Ivysaur, and Lucario, Sonic and Pac-Man don't really have much beyond shades of blue and colored armbands respectfully.
you know i had to do it to em https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/132767/18de1781-de45-467f-a531-0c94ee877a5d/image.png

Nothing. Which is why he isn't in Smash
At least he does have an amiibo.
He is canonically an overlooked, bitter loser of a character. The moment he gets to be playable, he stops being Waluigi.
Such an overlooked bitter loser that his brother doesn't even want him to be called his brother, just his friend. Even then he never even gets offered to make microgames or go on treasure hunts with his "friend."
