For give me for asking, but whats spy's current issue? Underpowered? He's my least played class in the game (only because I find it pointless to try when every team has 2-4 spies already on it) so I'm not to well versed on how spy is in the current game balance.
Alright, know any quality PVP FPS games that have a sizable playerbase and aren't Battle Royale or Overwatch?
Well I learned the hard way that the teammate outline upon spawn makes it dead easy to detect spies anywhere on the map. When you see a team mate silhouette pop up out of nowhere it's pretty easy to know it's a spy and just type in the chat.
Holy shit, I feel so stupid. I've noticed this and never thought once "Huh that really fucks over spies". I once walked out of spawn then suddenly a scout outline popped up behind the wall I was about to walk around and thought "ah that's a spy".
In retrospect that outline is super stupid.
Spies completely fuck with TF2's design in that respect. Team coordination would be so much easier if the line was just available all the time, but that's just impossible because there's an entire class that's useless once you have a certain level of team coordination.
And halloween is begone, do we agree that whatever "special event" kind of gamemode was just the highlighted mode of whatever was happening like halloween (featured)? And nothing actually new in the works?
That'd be super distracting and simply ugly.

Halloween already had it's own area in the casual browser, though. Featured is new, but idk if we can conclude that that was it.
In both of those clips you see a sniper shooting at people who aren't shooting back and the moment people start actually shooting at him he dies. What a concept. No amount of adjustments to sniper would've changed the outcome to that video other than flat-out reducing his damage (which would make the class pretty much a worthless lame duck). There's not really an argument to be made here. Might as well complain about a Spy getting a chainstab in a skial pub with people not paying attention because ZOMG he deleted 5 people!!1!

every time i start tf2 i gotta put these console commands into console or the game lags so hard i cannot walk

but now as of recently when i put the commands in there is a huge delay on every projectile. so if i shoot a rocket it takes over 1 second before a rocket comes out, can anyone please please please helpme

are you genuinely looking to try something new or you're one of those folks who thinks the earth is flat and wipping your butt properly makes you gay.
Because every time you mention how "there is no such thing as team fortress" you never ever mention what other games are out there that you have tried.

If they are, which they might be, it is only for the pre-launch crunch. Once Artifact is released, and the first wave of bugfix patches are pushed, people will go back to what they were doing before. What you should be worried about is someone like Dave moving over to the HLVR team. Dave worked on HL1 and 2, and famously created On a Rail and the Air Exchange. He may want to help with a new Half-Life game, as I'm sure many would.
Quake Champions is a good suggestion but the loot and microtransaction systems are probably the worst of any modern videogame and that combined with the insanely low playercount (the game never broke the steam top 100, which is death for multiplayer games) mean it's really hard to jive with it, so to say. I like the game a lot but the rune grind is bad.

Y'know? We should have a pastebin webpage or something where we can post information about advance settings a commands. A big list with the stuff we use to improve our change our gameplay, like, bind M4 to deactivate viewmodels and so on.
