This was the first thing I could think of when seeing the Advisor trio, forgive my sin https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/107118/3ff5851a-4891-4a71-8eb9-78fd8b3001d9/image.png
Uhhh why does it become HL1 all of sudden I got to play this
In addition to looking poorly made, that guy with the beret in the beginning has his flash on the wrong side of his face, it's supposed to be over the left eye
But the question is: Is it better than "The Closure"?
The crowbar animations are a bit weird, looks like they are just pushing or pinching rather than whacking the crowbar
Keep in mind: this mod has been in production since 2011.
Those auto generated normal maps with phong shaders really give off the impression that your weapons are coated in ice so... congrats?
I never thought of using the Advisor "nest" for the Dropship, actually it would make a good alternative for the container when it has to drop other stuff like Rollermines. Great thinking there. Actually even with that terrible mapping ( and several skins ) it feels interesting, I'll keep an eye on it because it reminds me of HL2: ICE ( super rough but at least something different ). And who knows, maybe I can even give tips to them like it happened with the mod of latter. Gotta give them props for that OF scene recreation.
The way I browse models is search the entire directory for what I want (ie, lamp) and click and hold to rotate the model while simultaneously arrow key-ing down through everything. Provides a good look and sense of scale when there's more than one of the same, differently sized model. I've noticed over the years, if I accidentally right click, that model will "lock". I don't know if you can get it to go away without closing the model browser, but that's my solution to that. Dunno why it happens. Not sure if it's a bug or a 'feature' because Hammer is full of "features"

Guys, does anyone remember a Half-Life 2 UE4 project which main goal was to make a base HL2 game for modders to work onto in UE4.
Project Borealis? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WkAU3A5nM-E&t=6s
First release of MMOD comes out in 3 days https://www.moddb.com/mods/hl2-ep2-enhased-mod
No. There is another project, which can be seen as Half-Life 2 remake on UE4. they even had/have their website. I just can't find it and can't google them either.
oh god, the page is shaking help https://a.uguu.se/JWeMF6ELu4Rx_2018-12-22_15-15-16.webm
You guys can't just make fun of Facepunch's parkinsons like that.
Oh god https://media.moddb.com/images/mods/1/15/14768/boomtackskraa.gif He added an actual rocket reload
Aren't the bits at the back meant to be closed?
Great animation, but looking at the vanilla rocket launcher always makes me remember that Valve accidentally put the worldmodel in reverse so rebels would fire out the backend of the thing.
IIRC I think they're for guiding/steering the rocket
Yeah, those don't expand until firing.
decided to run through Echoes again and the people who think mr. friendly is dead really didn't pay attention.
No seriously, the shift is so weird and sudden Is it trying to be bootleg Ep3 and BM Xen in one package?
It's hilarious XD
You know, revisiting Uplink: It's bad as hell, but I sort of love it because of that? It's really typical of the cringy 90s fan-jank content you'd see Back In Ye Day. I wonder if there's any merit in a HL stealth-focused mod where you play as Jaz. Hm...
I had to resize the browser window to get it to stop. Oh god.
Hey guys what do ya think, Valve on the left mine on the right. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/237880/4971f835-3c8f-4003-a39c-0565aec5e7ff/hlhd1.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/237880/616e3306-f76e-4b1a-a5da-916efc32aadb/hlhd2.jpg
So will MMod be compatible with HL2 Update?
Cheers man! a little tweaking to do but I am pretty happy with how they are turning out. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/237880/ca3e16e2-6248-48f1-ac31-14c7f091f53a/hlhd3.jpg
