I'm having doubts about the Arabian being the best horse.
Sure it has the best speed, but its handling is total garbage. Even at max bondage, it tends to buck me off with any predator nearby and freaks the fuck out from a single shot fired around it. I've never whistled for my horse to come back more so than the stupid Arabian.
Heh... max bondage
Is that a kinky sequel to max Payne?
I've never had that horse kick me off of it unless I walked away from the game during a long ride across the map and I drained the stamina to the point it hates me.
Wait until a cougar appears right next to you. The horse will say "I don't have to outrun the cat, I just have to outrun my rider"
its almost like how BOTW taunts you after you successfully take a fuckin bear or an enchanted ghost elk/horse all the way back to a stable and they tell you its not a horse so you cant keep it.
Just let us ride what we want to dammit, we could fuckin' ride bulls, donkeys, and buffalo in RDR1's online
I have a level 4 bonded Silver Turkoman, and hes still pretty fucking skittish, even when theres nothing around to cause him to be, I'm this close to just dynamiting the fucker.
" R E A L I S M ™ "
Explosive ammo is a one-shot to anywhere on the body, although it's understandable that you won't be using it - you actually need to find six pigs (SIX PIGS) and harvest all their fat to make one cylinder of explosive revolver ammo, and even if you can find it you can only hold 20 shots of it.
With this said, I don't see the point of legendary satchels aside from cosmetic (which is a very important point I'll admit to, however). You can hold a fucking kitchen of canned goods in your pocket, and enough ammo to last for a long while especially if you're a person who buys the special ammos and swaps guns often. Elixers? I mean you can run out of those, but you'll still find some in the wild occasionally and I haven't run dry personally beause I often stock up.
Seems like the total opposite of mine. only time it ever gets skittish is when I'm ambushed on the road.
While id like more than the 10 the other upgrades allow, I think 99 is a bit too much, 20 of everything, sure, 99 way too many though.
Wait what? 99? I don't get certain approaches to realism while completely ignoring other aspects this much.
Yeah, every other satchel raises your item count of that particular type, per individual item to 10 (from 3-5 originally). The legend of the East satchel, the last satchel you can craft, increases that so you can hold 99 of each item which I think is way too much.
Yeah that's fucking ridiculous, they go for giving us realism in a number of areas, but inventory management wasn't one because reasons.
You know something that bugs me, thinking about it now, is how we can't have Wagons and Carts, we have to rob them, but even if we could that, we can't legit get a bunch of dead Animals and load them up onto it to bulk store at the Camp or bulk selling or anything like that, it's a fucking shame aswell, I'd love to be able to catch a big animal and lug it's body to Camp or a Town or something at least, instead it's just, skin big bastard and that's it, not, DISPLAY HUMAN SUPERIORITY OVER PRIMITIVE ANIMALS.
You can always choose to not hold all those items.
indonnot understand how hunting a legendary animal works even after reading up on it. I just can’t find the damn clues
Are you using eagle eye?
For most of the hunts, you don't even have to follow the tracking. Just eagle eye and the next clue should be within view of the previous one, unless it's on the other side of a hill.
20 one-shot explosive rounds are more then enough especially as you can only harvest 1 animal fat per pig. Same with canned goods - yeah, holding only 3-5 kidney beans might suck, but I have like 3 cans of kidney beans, 3 cans of corn, 3 boxes of candies, 12 cigarettes, 12 premium cigarettes...
My point is that the games very generous if you don't increase carrying capacity. I have no idea what you would do if you actually max it out. It's clearly for the guy who's 100%ing the game
Those "reasons" are gameplay. 100% realism pretty much never ever ever ever results in a fun game.
I mean, even the starting satchel is pretty much tardis-level compact
I think it's totally fine given its requirements are fairly steep. If you take in consideration all the other satchels it takes a lot of time and effort to craft it and imo at that point you deserve a good reward.
I downright refuse to use the deadeye in most situations because I prefer to ravage my opponents without any assistance whatsoever,. With a personal touch, you know.
Maybe I'm in need of an analyst
can't wait for clickbaity RDR2:Online donkey races across the map
It is badass as hell going deadeye from a slow trigger pull and just decimating an array of enemies.
Han shot first, and so do I.
Yeah but 99 items? Come on.
Deadeye gives you literal god powers, so who cares if the last satchel upgrade gives you an absurd amount of space? Just accept that Pearson is a wizard too

Unless his science is full of shit, it's not God powers, it's just quick reactions.
Why not complain about skinning, taking bones, and cutting meat from an entire animal in 30 seconds too.
Some things can be conceded for the sake of gameplay. They game is by far more realistic than any other out there that comes to mind as it is. If you want any more realism than what's in it, I'd suggest moving to Montana or Texas and becoming a rancher in real life because that's literally all the more realistic you could try to get at this point.
