What do you guys think of Rockstar remaking Red Dead 1 on the RDR2 engine? Would be pretty cool and they could carry over all the refined game play and world.
Would be cool I guess, but unnecessary like most remakes are.
Besides when's the last time Rockstar did full remake of a game? They rarely ever do.

I don't think they've ever done one. I was fantasizing about that, just continuing the Red Deads story arc. It would be neat.
With the RDR2 companion app suggesting that a PC version of RDR2 exists, it might be nice to see a remake of RDR1 if it meant PC players could possibly play the game without buying a console.
Tbh I bought the Xbox one X "enhanced" version of RDR 1 when the black friday sale hit
I know it's nearly identical to the old version but I only had the PS3 version, and holy shit there isn't even anti-aliasing on that. I tried playing it a few weeks before RDR 2 and the fact that telephone lines were dotted aliasing lines immediately drove me insane

I have to say, while a tad overpriced in my opinion, the collectors box is pretty sweet, especially for the Ingame stuff that's been made real, like the catalog, cigarette cards etc, the playing cards are sweet, having characters as face cards, the challenge coin is effing nice too.

Nope, just paper, plain paper, even the cover isn't glossy just matte card. It's also great and hilarious to read through when travelling somewhere via cinematic camera

Yes, yes I have, and it's nowhere near as mighty as Arthur's on 7. Not to mention it doesn't grow past 7 on John, or at least I can't get it to no matter how many tonics I chug down.

Alright, I'd say I won't have to bother about new clothes for a while.
Also, I think I'm about the ending of chapter two and things are finally starting to pick up.
Gotta say, Milton just gave me one of the best quotes in the game this far ("Your people venerate savagery and you will die savagely! All of you."). Also, Edgar Ross direct involvement in the main plot is most definitely a surprise, but a welcomed one
Finally finished the game, what a ride and emotional rollercoaster.
Does anyone else think it'd have been much cooler if In the epilogue you got to play as Sadie instead of John. I still very much enjoyed what they did but it was very predictable and honestly I thought them introducing her the way they did would be a good way to build her up as a replacement for Arthur.
It would have been pretty cool, but playing as John leading into RDR1 is really cool tbh
I really look forward to playing a female gunslinger in Online, but the beard growing mechanic might just change my mind if it's still present in Online
I really love that during the final shootout where you play as Arthur, you can hear Ross yelling commands over the din of the battle.
I enjoyed him being in the game as much as he was, especially since there's that coincidental meeting between him and Jack 15 years before Jack kills him. I live on that continuity shit.
What happened here? If it's story spoilers I probably don't want to know as I do plan on getting this game soon.
