Would anyone here stream online for me to watch later?
$20.01? Is this a cap in place for gaining honour when donating?
Anything below $20 won't give you honor.
Ah so that's the entry cap, what's the end cap though?
$20 and below = no honor $20 to $99999 = 10 honor.
To be fair, in the end Javier is the only one who doesn't aim his gun at Arthur & John, instead aiming up at the sky.
Ahhh, I see, hence the $20.01 then, being the most you really have to put should you look to the camp for gaining Honour when you have money. Clever. Honestly though I've never looked to the Camp for Honour gains so I never cared about the optimal amount to put in, I just wanted to upgrade shit.
To be honest, as of now I downright refuse to go to the selected NPCs people capable of buying the fruits of my killing and looting and just dump everything in the gang's sharing box. Not only it increases my honor rate (and in this game a higher honor is very beneficial), but it gives me more cash to spend on camp upgrades, which offer a lot of very comfy utilities (respawning ammo and food and fast travel are among the best). Between this, the fact I utterly refuse to go hunting or fishing unless it's part of a mission and my aversion to perform crimes and get entangled with the law system, I'm starting to think I'm playing this game wrong somehow
Yeah I never really committed any crimes unless it was part of the story, the thought of doing so just doesn't do anything for me, despite the fact that I do like being a piece of shit at times in games.
Man today's gonna be a long ass day. I pre-ordered the game and played it a day before release, so I'm going to be able to start the mutliplayer tomorrow. Can't freaking wait. Time to dodge spoilers again, I wanna go into the online portion of the game without knowing shit. Also, I honestly believe they decided to release the multiplayer in steps to certain people because they can't predict the amount of traffic there's going to be. They probably want to avoid the problems they had with GTO's launch.
Yeah I'm avoiding the Reddit page because I want to see what shit's like myself, character customisation, the introduction, everything.
Wait for real? I've been donating 5-10 each time I visited camp thinking it gave me honor. Money down the drain I guess.
Got the ultimate edition and want to play online today but I’m only on chapter 3 and afraid of spoilers
The character faces look terrible lol
Yuno if you have the ultimate edition, when do you know you are doing the DLC Bank Robbery Mission and Gang Hideout in Story Mode
Bank Robbery is one of the optional ones in the camp, to rob Rhodes bank. (If you miss it in chapter 4 it appears in the mission select menu) The gang hideout is near Blackwater.
The guy I was watching decided after the tutorial that he'd go dm in free roam, and called the other guy trash for using cover lol, this is definitely going to be gta online, there seems to be no penalty for it except minus honour
Jeez, this character customization is terrible. Everyone looks hideous. I get you're supposed to be a dirty outlaw, but fuck, man, this a whole new level of crust.
It's so weird Rockstar is completely capable of making believable and nice looking NPCs and story characters, but when it comes to their multiplayer characters they all look like some weird plastic doll who even looks really out of place compared to the regular NPCs. It's not like they even offer any fancy or highly moldable sliders like in Sims 4 or Fallout 4. Might be even better if they just let the players select from a pool of the existing NPCs with hair, skin tone and stuff just being the variations for each created character, like what you can do with native trainers/director mode in GTA V.
While the general character creation looks a bit disappointing, how is the customization overall? Are there any barbers/tailors in-world you can go to?
Jesus christ, I was going to avoid it but I couldn't help myself, why are they STILL using this customisation system at all? Like alright you can do some more shit but it's so basic, you don't really have proper control over how you look, preset 04, teeth look, hair, age, slide shit about, still look like kind of a muppet, done. Disappointing.
End game spoilers in regard to multiplayer - Are they using the 1899 map or the 1907 map?
Clearly my expectations were too high after having played the Singleplayer, it seems there's some downgrades from the Singleplayer and it sounds like a load of bollocks.
It seems like you can play it solo and in private lobbies, so that's something at least.
And no doubt has arbitrary restrictions in place as to what you can do whilst in a private lobby. Honestly it's settling in that I'm going to have to deal with these kinds of people again and it's making be not look forward to the online aspect as much anymore.
More than likely given that one of the online achievements is to obstruct another player's posse. So much for the "more co-op than pvp" that was rumored. Watching the online streams on youtube, it's nothing but people harassing each other for no reason.
Online still looks fun but the prominent issues that were in GTA Online are definitely here as well. https://i.imgur.com/Nynw5JH.png Noisy voice chat and this kill screen on a stream I was watching kind of sums it up
Watching a Stream and not long into it the guy gets killed and says REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE Quite amusing, he got $3 for getting 2nd place in a Horse race or what looked like a Horse race, it looked fucking messy though. How much do Items cost anyway? I feel like this is only just going to be GTA Online and everything is gonna be overpriced and takes ages to get decent money.
Yeah items are overpriced as fuck. The Mauser is $1000 lmao Get ready to buy some shark bucks.
i've been playing this with a friend, and i've absolutely loved online so far. i've been playing it since it came out, and am taking a break now. pricing definitely seems really shaky, especially with each story mission giving you a whopping 6 dollars (so far), but other than that in terms of gameplay it's been smoothish (besides the occasional disconnects) few tips for anyone getting into it: if you thought GTA was bad with people wanting to kill each other, this game will have any player you see wanting to ADS you on sight. i already have over 70 player kills in 3ish hours just because of how if someone sees you they'll just revolver onto your head. if you wanna try being peacefulish firing a warning shot sends a notification to players around you saying something along the lines of "USERNAME does not want to be disturbed. Avoid them or be shot." if you're into PvP, use the pump shotgun or the varmint rifle. varmint rifle is a laser beam to the head with no recoil whatsoever, and shotgun is just a beast that requires no aim wanted system seems to not exist unless you kill NPCs, so towns are basically hell on earth unless you're in a store in whichcase you become bulletproof the melee system amongst players is seriously really cool, try it out I have honestly had so much fun with my friend playing this and I think it's absolutely amazing, but then again I was also into GTA Online even with the huge grind, and I'm also into shooting things. i'll be playing through this nonstop for a while that's for sure
