Fuck that. I'd rather do something else with my time then to grind my ass off for 1 thing.
9 hours or 50 hours - it’s equally disappointing to see mobile-phone tier micro transactions in yet another AAA, full-price game.
Uh did anyone else run out of story missions to do in online? It felt like it was just getting good, and now there's no more missions.
So when can we play online today? It just says coming soon for me? It's 1:30 PM GMT again?
Are gold bars used for something special in online, or just to sell for money like in singleplayer?
They're a premium currency, and I'm almost certain they will be the shark cards of this game.
Is there a passive mode?
So far, I haven't found any sort of passive mode. You can raise a white flag at your camp that makes it so people can't attack you while you're there, but that's about it.
It's annoying they've made it this way but i'm not at all surprised, though it's funny how R* say "oh it's going to be similar to the RDR1 online but with the experience we got from GTO" the only thing similar is it's the sime setting
So I assume there's nothing in place to protect yourself from griefers out on the roads?
They lied to us basically and I don't know why, they don't have anything to gain from it.
One thing i'd like is if they got rid of the gray effect when you die in online, watching gameplay of it, or alteast wait till a second or so, I wanna see my character fall to the ground after a few shots
So is the beard growing still active in online? Asking the important questions here
I don't think it is, which is a shame
Being able to actually pick my damn style from the get go and having it stick is preferable to wasting hours downing potions and going through lengths to trigger cutscenes so time passes quicker just so I can get the style I want.
Would be nice if they gave the option to have it grow or not, I know that'd break immersion or whatever but I enjoy the beard growing
Immersion in multiplayer, lol, not a chance with others Humans.
Just figured out Rob Wiethoff (voice of John Marston) lives in my fucking town. Middle of Bumfuck Indiana.
Knock on his door and say “John? John Marston? I’ve come for you!” while dressed as a Pinkerton.
Someone's gonna die if he does that
Oh boy these weapon and clothes prices aren't very promising, $400 for a shotgun? $700 for the volcanic? And you HAVE to use Gold bars on cosmetic changes to your guns.
Go get an autograph
Despite RDR Online looking to be another messy grindfest like GTA Online was, I still really appreciate what Rockstar has already done for the single-player and I'm glad it never really felt like they skimped out on the campaign.
Genuinely hope they re-consider some things in RDR Online in the future, but at the very least it feels like a very rough optional bonus of an already great game.
