Aside from the tenancy of randoms to shoot you on sight, and the awfulness of the structured PvP (fuck you auto aim and clunky free aim controls) online is pretty awesome. I spent hours with my buddies hunting, doing missions, and freeroaming. The PvE content is where it's at, with the occasional attack on other people's free roam missions.
There's always a posse or two in Blackwater gunning down everyone that moves. Kinda wish the game would bring the hammer down on them for it.
They need to put a bounty system in the game. The first few times you kill a player that's not fighting back or participating in an event, you get a warning, and after that, you get $50 added to your bounty every time you kill them. Other players can't take that bounty, but bounty hunters will stay on your ass until you pay it off, just like in single player.

So yeah, apparently there aren't a whole lot of story missions in the MP yet, finished like 4 or 5 and progress is already at 50%.
Haha I just accidentally caused a big gunfight in tumbleweed by shooting a bird on the edge of town, everyne started shooting each other thinking they were being shot at, meanwhile I was just chilling watching on the edge of town.
I also got ganked by two people pretending to fistfight in the street, I had a feeling it'd happen but just went with it to see how it turned out.

Had a guy trying to be a great son of a gun, killing me to steal the snake I'd just killed, boy did he sure regret it. Hounded him mercilessly over and over again until he left, killing him a bunch of times. Same with those guys who ganked me, albeit rather creatively.
Compare this to a guy who in all likelihood accidentally strangled me as we were mutually looting corpses, killed him once in reaction to it, left him alone after that.
I think it was more around $190 perhaps? It wouldn't be as bad, since $440 can get you fully stocked on Ammunition, possibly fully stocked on provisions, tonics and horse tonics too, could buy some clothing aswell, or just buy a single weapon.

The only thing I'd like most definitely to see in the online mode is the same law system as the main game, with player kills or otherwise aggressive behaviours towards other players being noticeable by witness and forcing you to deal with the situation if you don't want to get the Law on you and deal with the game's bounty hunters, on top of greedy players after your criminal head.
Some may consider this option far too limiting when it comes to players interactions, but I'd argue that if we don't draw the lines somewhere the whole experience may get really messy extremely fast
God al-fucking-mighty, in single player the Semi-Auto Pistol costs $210, in Singleplayer you can get money likes it's nothing if you do a few missions, multiplayer it's not as easy, however in Multiplayer it costs fucking $895
What the fuck are they even doing at all, this shit's fucking ridiculous, it was fine at $210, they've made it slower to earn money and then they up the price, yet again, evidence that they're clearly going to monetise the shit out of multiplayer.
Thought I was happy with my char, till I put on some normal clothes and it made his head completely disproportionate to his body.
