Can't you create a new character or start over?
so is the online the same grindy SHIT as gta online? haven't bothered to try yet
Yeah, I think if you create a new character you keep your gold and money you just have to level up again
As in, not fucking happening lol.
I've not tried it yet but it was similar in gta as far as I remember, you could create another character as I made one for my girlfriend and it was shared cash, though like I said I've not tried it yet it was just said in a video I watched yesterday so my mistake if it isn't lol
So is RDR Online worth getting Xbox Live for? I actually liked GTA Online and I mean it's not like its coming to PC for a few years yknow?
I've watched countless streams of Online now and not a single person, until VInny Vinesauce, has pressed X to customize the presets n the character creator. That really changes my opinion on it for the better.
Yeah I didn't even realise you could change a lot of that stuff
I mean online.
The stable in tumbleweed seems bugged for me. Can't move or do anything when I exited.
Oh, yeah at this rate you'll have tons of money... If you have a credit card.
No wonder Mary left him, he doesn’t have a penis
Remade my char. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/1751/37b68dd9-2686-4a40-a129-720c139000cd/image.png
Im SpazTheMax on Xbox Played some online last night. Im finding it pretty fun, even if I am adjusting to the different kind of gameplay involved. I really like the "Most Wanted" variant of deathmatch, where the better you're doing, the more points other people get for killing you. Although the autoaim must be irritating to console gamers, it's invaluable to a PC gamer such as myself to play the PvP game modes and actually enjoy them
When does MP take place? Before or after the Epilogue time skip?
Definitely before the end of chapter 3 Still not sure if it's occurring during or before the main story Online stranger spoiler: Sean shows up, claiming he's lost his big group of friends. Im not sure if this is before the main story or perhaps he wasnt with the gang when they moved at the end of Chapter 2.
The shitty thing about hunting and fishing is that it doesn't give much XP, so while you may be getting decent money, you're not really leveling up much by doing that. Fishing doesn't even give any XP at all, and that's insane. It does help level up your health core relatively quickly though, so I guess it has that going for it.
I'd like to get some of the gamemodes but I'm so terrible at aiming, even with auto aim, I mean against npcs in singlepalyer I'm not too bad but other players I'm just shit
Mission payouts are a fucking joke, got $4.95 for soloing 35 NPCs in a hideout on a mission.
I just had a thought. What if the grind is intentionally slow right now so people don't get too attached to their characters in case their progress gets wiped at the end of the beta period? I really hope that's the case.
Not likely but would be nice, I just hope they get rid of the only gold purchases either way
Still haven't seen a Poncho anywhere, so I guess they still didn't add one?
Still can't stop the weak chins on females though without breaking the jawline into AHURRDURR face.
Probably will be one in the first major addon update, but like I said, stylistically this takes a lot more inspiration from revisionist westerns like Unforgiven and The Assassination of Jesse James with a lot less emphasis on spaghetti westerns, barring something like The Great Silence
Does anyone have a bug where you kill everyone in a hideout and it doesn't finish and reward you, just has the hideout on the ma still
So I figured out how to unlock the other story missions online. They unlock based your honor, so if you're good, you'll unlock the "gunslinger" questline. If you're bad, you'll unlock the "outlaw" questline.
And what the hell is cripps problem keeps moving the camp
Oh what a load of shit, this moral decisions are bullshit, 2 wanted to kill, myself and someone else wanted to help, but killing them was the overriding choice so now my honour gets affected negatively. I was about to just post that but turns out the decision that you personally made affects your Honour, so even if you end up having to kill someone when you picked help, your honour is affected positively. That's janky, it makes it seem like you're gonna get negative honour for it.
Speaking of which, Rockstar has really packed in the homages. So far, I’ve noticed references made from Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Assassination of Jesse James, Bone Tomahawk, Django Unchained and the Wild Bunch. Probably a bunch more that I might have missed.
I wish, but sadly I expect it not to change without sigificant outrage from the community. But even then the journalism outlets will just come out calling us entitled for not wanting MTX in a full price game
