Doing a legit playthrough and being like this, I honestly wouldn't be able to bring myself to do it, treating everyone like shit, the reactions you get off other people, it's terrible.
”Just go and play with the kid, teach him how to swim! Oh wait, you can’t.”
FUCKING BRUTAL
Same. Only person I've antagonized in my playthrough is Micah because fuck him
Mission related question.
During the mission where you're helping the Captain, in Chapter 6, getting Medicine for the Natives, how am I supposed to steal the medicine in a way that doesn't lose me any Honour? Am I to trail it and wait for it to stop somewhere or what? Because even if I just beat the 2 guys after fucking up the wheels on the wagon, it nets me negative Honour, even though I'm pretty sure that just knocks them out.
Like there's no option to ride up along side and jump on the Wagon, I can't exactly sneak up on it since it's moving fast, does it make a stop somewhere then or what?
I was able to jump to it by just spamming square. They got mad and starting shooting while Arthur ponderously collected the vaccines but I was able to escape. I don't really know how you're meant to do it without just cheesing it like that.
What is this game doing? So I let the wagon carry on, it gets into a fairly well defended area so I just blow myself up to restart a checkpoint, not before shooting some people beforehand, lose a bit of honour, I restart from checkpoint when I kill myself and now I'm further back on the trail, the people who were on the wagon aren't there and my honour has still gone down, what the flying fuck kind of checkpoint system is this? There's pretty much no fucking way of doing this without losing some honour.
This specific mission is fucky with checkpoints, it seems to create one the instant any violence kicks off, then treats it as if you murdered them when reloading that checkpoint and moves the cart back to where it thinks you should've hit them. Just suicide and restart the entire mission.
One of the objectives is to recover it without being detected, in what universe is that possible? And within 5 minutes? Get fucked.
I think if you run ahead you might be able to sneak out of a bush and climb over the side without being detected?
Honestly I just sacked off the loss in Honour, practically unavoidable.
i just tried robbing the bank in st. denis by myself, the teller did not cooperate so i had to ventilate him with my shotgun. nobody actually saw me do it so i ran out the side door and walked down the street scot-free.
didn't get any money, though
Sounds pretty typical really, like it'd need to be scripted as fuck to work properly.
Any fun things to spend money on? I spent a few hours doing the treasure hunt maps and now I have over 3000 $ but no idea how to spend it all besides gold plating every gun I own.
good horses, good clothes, good guns
leeenyyy
Just finished Chapter 6.
I keep crying, I knew at this point in my life this wasn't going to get any better emotionally, first you find out that Molly didn't say anything and she was just drunk and I feel bad from that as is, but then it turns out that it was that piece of shit Micah instead.
And now Arthur's dead.
This game's drawn a reaction out of me where I'm crying over these events, I honestly blame recent life choices for how much this is affecting me right now though, bit of weird period emotionally, so this is just...damn.
Anyone else annoyed it doesnt show you where you died at? I almost killed everyone at this camp but one got me and i couldnt find the camp afterwards.
And that's the epilogue done. Finally got to the end credits.
Arthur continues to be right even eight years after his death. Revenge is dumb and stupid and only gets you hurt. Marston would have never been found out if him, Charles and Sadie had never gone back for Micah.
And my boy Charles continues to be the absolute best. So absolutely glad he pulls through.
It's frustrating that there isn't a trapper anywhere near West Elizabeth or the Grizzlies.
There's one all the way at the west edge of WE, be careful when you visit him though because he's also right in the middle of the Cougar Zone
This is odd
I did the Valentine Bank mission quietly instead of using the Dynamite but news paper says we did.
I can't tell if he's joking or not
Guns, more clothes, tack for your horse, or better yet, donate some of it for camp upgrades.
Okay so I went looking and
Fuck cougars my god
Gotta cancel my pre order now, my most trusted reviewer doesn't like the game
post-epilogue spoilers
Since they show that Pearson survived and became a shop owner does that mean you can find him again and perhaps craft the satchels you've missed ?
He's not wrong with a lot (if not all) of what he says
That mission near the end of chapter 3 at the mansion was so fucking dope.
The music as you walk up was amazing. From that point on, the story felt so much bigger than your gang.
Get the best satchel and buy 99 of everything.
Most of it seems like nitpicking, personal opinion, or complaining for the sake of trying to find something to complain about (which garry does a lot)
