If Toby fucks in any way shape or form with Papyrus he's a dead man.
I really do think he's gonna make him a weird socially inept lurker.
Why else would he be cooped up in his home? Papyrus was the one that was ALWAYS out and about in the original.
I doubt it'll be taken to the extent of his original concept, and it'll be handled with a lot more grace while keeping him likeable, but it makes a lot of sense considering how he's teased, and not seen.
in which sans gets an invisible evasion stat that increases with every level-up, culminating in level 99 (Superstar Saga's level cap) virtually guaranteeing no attack can connect
on that note, a lot of the visual comedy that goes on with the brothers in Undertale REALLY brings to mind Superstar Saga and its hilarious cutscenes...

My life isn't even life anymore it's more like just "waiting for the next chapter of deltarune to release"
Ah, you've entered the "I can't die until *game* releases" stage.

Burgerpants has always scared the shit out of me since Undertale, to be honest
Burgerpants is kind of a weirdo.
Well, he does look deranged because Toby Fox didn't update his artwork.
I can always relate to burgerpants. his thoughts on his job click with the thoughts I have about mine a lot
burgerpants is just an honest depiction of the despair of working fast food
until you've done it yourself, you'll never truly understand
Honestly one of my favorite pieces of concept art is the one where Toby Fox mentioned that he originally wanted the water in Undertale's Waterfall area to be black because if it was cyan it would look like 𝓢𝓱𝓲𝓽
