Looks like it is. Not all the models are perfect. I cant remember exactly which one but there was a 40k model that had a blatantly broken off piece in the preview.
I'm gonna come off as an ass but surely they have the time, resources and also reason to make sure its as good as possible? Or maybe it was a big crunch period when they had to photo all the models for the previews and noone had time to fix that.
@G-Strogg Injection molds are milled from a CAD master. The mill can sometimes leave very minor tool marks, particularly on curved surfaces, that will show up if you drybrush or otherwise use a texture-defining painting technique. Forge World models show weird texture a lot; their models actually are 3D printed to make the master green.
Anyways, I just finished my remaining two vehicles for my Renegade Militia army, so I'm now two squads of infantry from being done with a 1K army.

Yeah, heck, that's definitely what it looks like. I wonder what the hidden backstory behind the paint chip is.
Duncan painted it, and a jealous Peachy "accidentally" droppes it.
if its an old-ish model (at least from a few years ago) they probably dug it out of a drawer to take the 360 pics and didn't want to bother repainting a section.
First model completed in 2019 is a trukk, lots of fun to do as is typical of orks.

Take this like for yer boyz in blue.
I'm sure at least one agent of the Ordo Chronos has had yo deal with their past/future selves trying to kill them.
I know there was that infamous story of an ork who upon travelling back in time made the decision that there is another him running around with another one of his favourite shoota, ergo he hunted himself down and killed himself to have two of his favourite gun grandfather paradox be damned!
My favorite warp/timey-wivey shenanigans story is the one about an Imperial ship responding to a distress signal from a ship caught in an ambush.
They make a warp jump to the signal's origin but find no-one there. They're promptly ambushed by multiple enemy ships, so they send a distress signal.
This is the sort of thing inquisitors write about to spook young Ordo Chronos hopefuls... before telling them that this is considered a "minor" event and probably an ideal way to end a career.
Did someone mention time shenanigans?
A Year of Victories! – The Regimental Standard
Not all our victories were on the battlefield! This year, the Departmento Munitorum completed our three-decade consultation on the definition of time itself post-Great Rift, and already have some exciting thoughts on how to measure chronology going forward. Some ideas include:

One of the things I love about 40k is it gives no shits about paradox. It's impossible to create a time paradox because the universe simply doesn't care. Murder your grandfatehr? No problem, you're still there.
It does help that by all accounts it seems the reality itself of the 40k universe is malicious. Also the Necrons of the Maynarkh Dynasty (holy hell I can't believe I actually memorized how to spell that) literally damaged causality itself, so they might have unknowingly prevented the universe from being capable of experiencing time paradoxes.
Paint and SC! boxes going up in price.
A Quick Heads
20 pence is about 25 cents for us Americans so it's not a huge increase at least. Buy your SC boxes while you can though.
No change in Sweden as we're already at 3.10 gbp when converted back, I hope so at least. :P
(Doesn't matter much to me as I think most new paints I will buy will not be GW unless the colour is really good or what I need)
Have never done proper weathering before, but I like how this came out.

Looks like something that's been sitting in one of those old vehicle graveyards. The effect is well done, but I think it's a bit much for something that is meant to be in battlefield use.
I've seen farm equipment still in use with about the same amount of visual wear.
Worn paint and is the type of thing that tends to get fixed very fast on gate guardians and museum pieces, but very rarely on equipment in active service. I've seen battle tanks in combat with more visible wear, and considering it's the job of a field gun to get hauled around rough terrain, some wear is expected.
It begins
