These classes existed the whole time, we swear. https://www.warhammer-community.com/2019/01/14/14th-jan-the-horus-heresy-new-imperial-knights-rulesgw-homepage-post-1/
gee 30k dominus how come fw lets you have https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/58249/4110e77b-d636-4412-8774-9ab94744ee97/image.png
The only iffy one I see is the bio corrosive upgrade for Armigers' heavy stubber.
all stubber-armed big knights in the 30k list can take bio corrosive rounds for 5p
So all Imperial Knights are dark angels now. Also why is there a link to a footnote that doesn't exist on the Armiger's weapons?
Worldclaimer was already kinda shit and now they nerfed him to only give re-rolls to black legion raptors.

You really made the imperium look like the bad guys. The eerie green with the red eyes, the shadows really catch the ornate armour. Very good stuff.

https://www.warhammer-community.com/2019/01/15/a-lord-of-raptors-he-is-returned/ They backpedaled on nerfing him.
Just gonna casually drop some heavy support here, don't mind me... https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/58205/cf9187fa-b80a-40aa-b02d-0b8036ae45aa/20190115_165517.jpg
Playing the BFGA2 Campaign beta and so far really enjoying it. There are a lot of little improvements when compared to the first game. I'm not really a multiplayer person, so the new format of the campaign is a big thumbs up in my book as it looks to be quite replay-able. I have heard some people grumbling about wacky balance, but that was from the first beta and I haven't seen any thoughts about Beta 2's balance (but again, this is more MP related) Nails the atmosphere perfectly though, top notch stuff.
I'd never thought about putting some of the AdMech terrain kits together like this https://i.imgur.com/SNc1Uoj.jpg
That's pretty cool @Anderan . The rectangular base is particularly interesting to me, as I've been toying with possibly building 12"x12" terrain tiles to construct a board out of.
GSC reveal - Biophagus aka the doctor https://www.warhammer-community.com/2019/01/16/16th-jan-genestealer-cults-preview-the-biophagusgw-homepage-post-1/?fbclid=IwAR2020cTB74Nly06yeJdDeyRSSdEaCx2M_0CdOoPO5k_CRuvFrm7_mjh01o It has an ability called "Genomic Enhancement", which the Biophagus can use on a unit of Aberrants. Roll a D6 and on a 1 a single model is slain. If 2+, a D3 is rolled to buff either Strength, Toughness or Attacks by +1.
Was discussing how fitting Dorns facial hair was and a bud blessed me with this. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/210199/fb5400df-9a66-4e0d-b78f-2490d53137a1/50272792_2211933679080876_8300417641214902272_n.jpg "THESE FISTS HAVE HELD THE IMPERIAL LINE FOR GENERATIONS"
Looks more like a really buff Nigel Thornberry.
Might be because doctor death doesn't have any claws of his own. He just has this: https://whc-cdn.games-workshop.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/40kCultBiophagus-Jan16-InjectorGoad5icd.jpg Also, looking at the ruling, a roll of 1 doesn't prevent your surviving models from getting the buff, it just kills one, so no matter what you're getting +1 to something.
GW really knows how to push my buttons, anytime im like "maybe I should just stick with craftworlds and not buy a GSC army" they go and show off a new model.
I kept seeing people swearing the Aberrants with the doc were a new unit but I guess that was wishful thinking combined with blurry images.
Probably just Aberrants finally getting their own kit since now both of the box sets they used to be available as part of are OOP.
ITS HAPPENING https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/235955/3842c42c-9754-4a3d-b3be-348908a83038/Warhound 1.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/235955/7cf531b9-3aff-4237-8b8e-5f8ee18f0924/Warhound 2.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/235955/25132bb9-fcc3-444e-9fdc-569736ce2a08/Warhound 3.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/235955/152e7af0-471d-4f07-bb7e-5f866eb22343/Warhound 4.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/235955/6c8ec22e-8d12-4202-aa73-4e2e14883b3a/Warhound 5.jpg Whoever painted this originally really gave it 110%, EVERYTHING is painted. I literally lack the lighting and camera to get all the details, but as an example, there are a series of fans under the hazard striped top cover that are painted at the same detail as the rest of the model. And to my delighted surprise, its legit Forgeworld as far as I can tell: https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/235955/ae7bca20-a5ad-42c4-aeeb-580262e58a89/Warhound 6.jpg
I guess head swaps are the new legion doors. FW seems like they have taken a liking to them as of late. https://www.warhammer-community.com/2019/01/18/the-faces-of-the-stormhosts/
A while back Joazz posted some chaos Warhound titans he moddled and I mentioned how the "head" looks like the cab of a truck. Your titan is cool but the head resembles the cab of a truck. Knowing how archeotech in 40k works it probably IS the cab of a truck.
Man, the nobz kit is so much better than the boyz kit. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/208305/f10468c1-e8dd-4a12-805f-8dca2706eeb2/Nobz.jpg

As dispenser pointed out, he's just Truckasaurus with lasers: https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/simpsons/images/8/89/Truck-o-Saurus.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20140920162736 That said, my mechanical Big-Rig Dinosaur got his first games in yesterday, and they were fucking train wrecks. First game was a normal 3K game in which he killed 6 models before being killed on Turn 2 by a a couple melta-guns, and the second game was a 6K point game, and I found out the hard way that there's basically no way to stop 3 Spartans, 3 Land Raiders, and a Glaive when they sprint to within 6" of your army on the first turn, especially after I managed to get 15 penetrating hits without a single explosion result. I knocked 1 Spartan and all 3 Land Raiders down to 1 hull point, and immobilized another spartan, but it just didn't matter at that point. But later in the night, things got really dumb. My hobby shop was doing a pre-release for Magic, which meant they were open until 4AM, so this ended up happening: https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/235955/6228cce7-9b08-4d3e-9b5a-fc84cc842b9c/Titanicus Grande 1.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/235955/1d6e0fe7-9f67-4d0e-aa56-6237cb97e1ce/Titanicus Grande 2.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/235955/5b38d4ae-ba75-4c7c-9507-a21974d98c64/Titanicus Grande 3.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/235955/87696a53-cc9e-49b1-957e-27f553b9046a/Titanicus Grande 4.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/235955/fbb0b892-3e8e-4b54-990c-fce1a02d0bb5/Titanicus Grande 5.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/235955/249b1859-274c-4f76-b442-b23ac868efc9/Titanicus Grande 6.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/235955/170600ef-d022-4106-bca1-73d1ec3842a5/Titanicus Grande 7.jpg My buddy and I had permission to borrow the owner's Titans, as well as another friend's knights, and so we played us some full scale Titanicus. We used 30K rules, and while it did boil down into whoever went first won, it was hilariously fun. We also learned that if Knights get into close combat, the loser will explode, which will make the winner explode, which will then make another knight nearby explode. Next week a Warlord is coming out to the table, which might mean that the other unfinished one sees the table as well, in what will surely be a huge clusterfuck.
Sounds like 40k Alright. I believe this is known as "acceptable losses"
Just a random thought, but Warhammer games have been pretty damn good as of late haven't they. TWW2 and Vermintide got me mega hooked again, and Battlefleet Gothic II looks awesome as it is unique. Woo hoo.
Mechanicus is pretty fun too, it can be played through a little fast, but the soundtrack and writing are both great, and as a 40k themed Final Fantasy Tactics it plays pretty well.
