I like how 40k isn't meant to be realistic, so instead of making the stealth marines "tacticool" they just went completely fucking nuts ala true 40k fashion and gave everyone 6 scopes, 3 antennas, 2 guns, and an average of 4 knives a person.
The psychic discipline for the Vanguard Librarian was leaked as well, and he seems pretty fucking strong. 5/6 spells are B tier at least imo.

I'll be the first to admit, for a guy named ABADDON THE DESPOILER, I think his topknot is kind of silly. I know it's supposed to be metal as fuck, but the look of it is kind of over the top even for 40k's standards. Everytime I see him I think the rest of Slipknot is coming afterwards. I'd be ok if it'd been a Dark Knight Rises Bane mask or something like Araghast's helmet.

The blood red top-knots are something the Black Legion has been doing for years, and I've always really liked it.

I've always interpreted Abaddon's personality as him compensating. He's living in the shadow of his former warmaster Horus so he's got to constantly prove to his legion that he's not just as good as the old warmaster, hes better! "Horus didnt have any hair at all! A friend's convinced me to give Age of Sigmar another try, after abandoning it a bit shortly after its original release.
I just went and priced out my Ogres using the online warscroll builder, and... good lord, I have over 2500pts of Ogres, and they fit in a bin that holds all of 500pts of Death Korps. Guess I have another project now. I'm thinking I might try my hand at airbrushing skin tones and see how quickly I can knock them out.
If GW really wanted that could just release circular base regiment trays alongside Age of Sigmar that would let people both play Warhammer fantasy and their skirmish game both. I think it would be hitting two birds with one stone if they were to rerelease the game again. You'd have people still buying your miniatures for two games and make the community happy by simply allowing the option to play the old system.
