If that is the intro cinematic, Xander better shout the title at the end of it.
A lot of them are just 2D graphics. It's pretty jarring and makes it look unfinished. (That and the lack of music) It's a cool advert but I'd want it cleaned up if it were going to be the intro.
ultimate intro maybe Seems close enough at least.
Where are you getting this wild idea that the 6 second animations are occurring every minute? Final smashes are gonna show up at the same discrepency, maybe a tiny bit faster because of the meter function (which can be turned off), and the zoom and slow-mo only happens if you connect with a seriously powerful move, which, usually in casual, are very rarely hit unless that one friend is just spamming Falcon Punch
I can accept the Ice Climbers since they were in the background for less than a second, but Pac-Man was the most egregious. I agree, though, I'd want it to be improved if it served as the full intro. This could be an older version, or maybe they had to cut it down for time and threw Pac-Man in super quickly.
Pichu vs Piranha Plant on Hanenbow with items set to high The true smash endgame
Don't forget to add Daisy as the third character, and add in Stage Morph to 75m. That's the endgame right there!
I don't have the source artist for this image but it was single-handedly enough for me to want Mach Rider in the game as a parallel to Captain Falcon https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/249352/6193e76e-d6e2-42ff-b973-d10e9d8f86c2/image.png
I was fully expecting Mach Rider to get in, wasn't expecting Sakurai to end his "obscure NES era character" streak (Duck Hunt is hardly obscure but you get my point)
Yeah... it is a shame, but we dod get 2 more NES representatives in way in the form of Simon Belmont and Piranha Plant. Simon fits the bill more.
We still don't have a conclusion to what that toy Sakurai had that was supposed to be for an upcoming project of his was supposed to be.
Pikachu
Hanenbow with max items still ends up playing the same as low items, because most of them end up rolling into the water. It's such a shitty stage.
Maybe it was a posing reference for how characters would hold the Staff item? I'm honestly intrigued about that myself. Even though I doubted the Grinch leak from the start, I at least thought it was a point in favor of the Grinch leak that the rifle seemed to match the Mach Rider's rifle. But, that never happened, and Elma from Xenoblade Chronicles X (who also uses a similar rifle) is also not in Smash! So, who knows.

Couple more filled out requests between Otafest... They're called voodoothur on tumblr, Saucenao is your friend: Image Search Options
Zoom n' slow mo is without an issue; I get that idea based on the reports of a few friends that went there, mentioning that it was kinda jarring sometimes. Obviously I am not seeing this is a massive issue, but more like a nitpick.
Yeah, I can see why it'd be jarring,
https://twitter.com/TheGuardianMew/status/1061741967447592960 arwing flies through an emphasized sky visual when he says "I'm a shooting star, leaping through the sky" captain falcon goes flying from dk's punch when he says "im traveling at the speed of light" charizard appears when he says "200 degrees" "LADY GODIVA" when Isabelle poses its crazy how much of this coincidentally links up lol
Sonic also appears when "supersonic man" is sung, what is this sorcery?
Freddie Mercury confirmed for smash.
"ugh another tie-in character for that Bohemian Rhapsody film" I'd love it though.
This pretty much just confirms that that trailer is supposed to actually be set to music. All the pauses and poses perfectly fit a 4/4 timing, that's why it syncs up so well with music without being edited.
He can be based off of this Freddie: http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/freddiejd8.jpg
That is one of the best song-sync coincidences I have ever seen 12/10 best trailer
What color Kirby do you plan on maining. I'm curious.
Okay, tinfoil hat time, but how much you wanna bet Nintendo's marketing team intentionally left out all the music in this ad, knowing that people would notice how oddly quiet it was, make tons of memes syncing the commercial up to various songs, and thus increase the commercial's reach exponentially, all without paying a cent in music royalties?
I said it last thread, but I'm pretty sure he was using it for this gun: https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/547/84845cad-d576-4935-8dbf-2fdc1deb868d/this one.png It's the only gun item with any special significance to the game, being a key item for the Spirits mode. I'm sure they went through a lot of concepts for important elements like this. Otherwise, I can't imagine what would be important enough to warrant him tweeting about it. We didn't get any new characters with that kind of rifle (many were suspecting Geno's gun-arm, but alas).
Blue because Sakurai is a coward and refuses to add Grape Kirby
Maybe, it's not really hard to do though. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8IY5Nz_zfK0 I did this with the song from the first Playstation All Stars trailer, and with fiddling with it things happen on really common beats (Mario punch the ground, dodging Shadow Ball, Isabelle posing etc.) so most music would fit everywhere. Curious thing though, Japan got the same trailer as the West but it's in reverse.
