i thought it was fine tbh. it makes it easily recognizable that the smash attack is now fully charged since they go from lots of movement to holding still, which helps make it clear that any further charging doesn't add more damage.

I don't think nintendo even has any kind of demon-based characters, do they(other that AT and the pet demon that ashley carries around)?
Bowser's title in Japan is Daimao instead of just "King", making him a Great Demon King.
We're taking about Japan though, and they are weirdly particular with what counts as what.
For example, they would say that Ashley's hangabout and some of the other examples are devils, not demons, as they lack an avatar element or formative concept. Demons are associated with things to them, that's what the whole concept of yokai is.
We're talking about demon as a race of beings, rather than as a title or as a concept. Like people who can be "half demon" such as Dante, since his parents were a dmeon and a human.
we do have angels as a race, wich is again odd not to see demon themselves.

24 Days. That's like three weeks. That's roughly 9% of the total wait time starting from March 8th, where they announced it.
And if you think about it, it's more likely roughly 2 weeks till we see more information left and right from people that find it earlier in some mart, proper reviews etc.
I'm out of the loop. Did they leave data files of DLC characters in Sm4sh's release? Because unless they have literally everything for the DLC characters in the files - the models, the animations, the textures, the voicelines, the graphics, et cetera - there is not a single reason to be outraged. It isn't hard to put space in coding, graphics, et cetera for the new characters' names when they release. It is hard to make the models, book and record the VAs/seiyuus, do the texture work, make every single animation they need, and have all of that ready to download and release for the public, which is no doubt going to be very close to millions.

Not in the release of Smash 4, but one of the early patches contained files for Ryu and Roy which prompty got datamined right away.
They did say they haven't started to work on them so I wouldn't think there would be much to find aside from maybe code referring to extra characters.
I think updates and patches may lead to leaks if they are not careful in the coming months/year. Ryu and Roy were leaked due to an update containing files referring to them.
That or they learned and end up revealing the DLC before an update that potentially contain files to it.
