Probably because VinLAURiA forgot to put the spoilers warning on the new thread, so people assumed stuff was open-talk.
Ah, sorry. Didn't think it necessary at the time; I guess that was premature considering we're getting so close to release and leaks were bound to happen. I'll throw up a warning in the next thread's title; current one's about to lock as it is.

Watching all the World of Light stuff definitely confirmed my suspicious that the mode looks boring to me. Hope it’s easy to unlock characters in other ways.
Looks great to me. I always wanted more Event Matches, and now we got maybe 400+ if almost all of the Spirits has a fight.
Aw, they replaced Hynden Walch? Phooey.
https://twitter.com/nron10/status/1064532653272117255 There goes my "play one vs match on selected map to unlock character". Hopefully there's nothing that will give me Melee Mewtwo flashbacks.
Word of Light looks okay. Not as big of a fan of long-form single player experiences. I like something you can jam out for anywhere from an hour to 15 minutes if you're good enough, and come back to because it's such a solid loop. Something something Melee Adventure mode something something non-WiiU Sm4sh classic modes.
Yeah, but they most likely reused the Smash 4's guidance so Hynden might be in still. I doubt they spend time and money to re-cast all the lines.
I never got the hate for Classic Mode in Smash 4. Like, I get there was an overabundance of eight-player matches in the Wii U version's, but people seem to have this vitriolic hatred for it.
I disliked it because it was way too gimmicky to be a "classic" mode. Smash 3DS and Smash U seem to be as gimmicky as I'd be willing to have for "classic" mode.
I didn't like it because they changed something that was perfectly fine before just because they could. 5+ players is too chaotic for me, especially if I'm not even playing with other people. On top of that, none of the other single player options enticed me.
Smash 4's single-player content as a whole was pretty disappointing, as were the two "headliner" modes. Smash Run was at least fun for a while; Smash Tour was just a mess of execution despite the appealing concept. In general, everything outside of basic multiplayer in Smash 4 seemed to lose its luster the moment you were good for custom gear. Points for trying something new, but it just didn't have any longevity at all.
Yeah, Smash 4's single-player content wasn't all that great. Master Order and Crazy Order was a neat idea but mostly forgotten, Smash Tour was just ass, Smash Run was great on the 3DS, just needed some polish.
