Do we have our own community discord? The games merely alright - Not great, but not the disaster I was led to believe it would be. RDR2 kinda sets a high bar that this game can't fill, but on it's own its okay you see.
So uh https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/164/4f034315-e025-4502-bd41-2af62cc215e1/aShQdF.mp4 Should I be worried?
Man, I like snallygasters, they're grotesque creatures, but they're cool to fight. When I think about it though, while they are already based on a folklore thing, they still resemble parts of the cut centaur concept art for Fallout 4, so in a way, they're almost like that cut content made a reality.
Hopefully superheated rebar.
Huh, that's weird. In my MANY times crashing, while the enemies in an area will respawn, the items I just looted and objects prior to crashing in containers do not. Perhaps its an oversight in certain locations?
Looks like I'm half correct with this. You can blow up locked doors/chest and many other objects but only in those are where ya can claim Workshop. Outside of those, they are unbreakable. Bethesda, consistency please.
I got an explosive combat shotgun off a legendary and I can take out a scorchbeast within 2 reloads if it decides to land.
I died to some unkillable molerats. Their healthbars were empty and no matter how much I pumped into them it did nothing.
The games merely alright. Would prob be better if we start a F76 group though
Ah RoboVultures, the predecessor to the Synth Crows
That's exactly what this was. And an ad for Rage 2
okay, what the fuck is with pvp in this? Like why is it so goddamn useless? Yeah, the slap system is okay as it means picking lower guys off is tedious but alongside that if you deplete someones health and they dont fight back, their health magically gets restored. What the fuck
So that's where the cargobots have been all this time. I have seen vertibots spawn that weren't guarding a cargobot, I thought it was weird. Also where can I find the pictures I take in photomode? Found a big radioactive hole in the ground and I want to show off my character posing near it while his rads start increasing dangerously.
I've found that enemies will respawn instantly any time a new player enters the area, sometimes even you if you wander away far enough and come back. Remember that if you've just cleared out a super mutant town and are in the middle of looting it if a friend wants to fast travel to you.
As someone who lived FO4 for just the world and exploration/discovery, is FO76 worth it?And would it be better to get on a slightly aging pc or an xbone X?
If you just like the world then I think you’ll like 76, the whole game is just exploring basically
I spent the entire beta just wondering around the world by myself, was surprised how much I enjoyed doing such. I've heard it runs better than FO4, and as its a bethesda game they're nearly always better on PC even if server supported mods are a year or so ahead.
Just on the vertibot/cargo bot discussion that happened just before, multiple times during the BETA, vertibots just phased right through my camp. It's fairly high up a mountain, you see. So high up that I should expect bugs. But the vertibots either appeared from inside the mountain, or that mountain was on their flight path. Because it happened pretty much consistently. Imagine my shock when I'm just hanging about and suddenly a vertibot appears and phases through me. If you're wondering, yes, I did try to hop on top of one. It just forced me off.
I finally ran across someone wandering around in power armor and wondered to myself when I would find some or if I'd have to buy a frame and scavenge like a rat to find plans/parts for one. Not even 2 minutes later I walk into a shack near where we were at and walk right into a frame with a T-60 helmet, left arm, and torso. Only problem is that uh..the pieces are level 40. So I won't be using them for quite a while.
I have so much power armor I can't even use, I have four frames and it's really annoying because I'm lugging around 40 pounds of stuff that's basically worthless because my stash is full.
make sure you scrap everything in your stash, just storing junk don't scrap it.
After playing for a good amount of time last night solo, taking time to read all the notes, listen to all the holotapes, and really try and understand the people and situations leading up to everyone's deaths... I found myself really wishing the factions were alive and I could just talk and interact with them like in a normal Fallout game.
fucking power armor is more common than screws in this game. actually come to think of it, I swear they upgraded the amount of aluminum it takes to craft things now.
Well if you want a good source of Ceramic, go to white springs, there is a vase on every damn table in that building. Plus a room full of every crafting bench and a stash box.
Is it true that the ingame "atom store" sells outfits that are just assets from fallout 4? I heard that you can get nick valentine's coat, the vault tech dude's clothes, etc etc
Yes. This was the case even during the beta.
I'm not the only one who thinks that's a bit of a piss take right?
I completely agree. Some of the notes and holotapes are actually really well done and it's a shame they weren't actual NPCs. For example, I thought that whole story in [sp] Flatwoods about the kid with an abusive father surviving the nukes and blaming himself for everything that happened, then going on to become a Responder in order to help kids have the kind of family he never had and eventually finding peace and forgiving his father [/sp] was legitimately emotionally engaging. Having actually played the game I do think that absolutely no human NPCs was definitely a big misstep.
One of my favorite things was going through the overseer's personal quest. You learn a lot about the character and there's some actually pretty good moments.
so does anyone know where there is a guaranteed seller of the power armor frame blueprint/plan? i really don't want to have to crawl back through the dungeon i was in to complete this fuckin' quest for crafting a set of armor :V
