It takes 1 month to patch the fucking stash?
Its unbearable as it is right now
So their finally going to add collisions to the token box at the fort so we can finally fix it.
Thanks bethesda. It took 3 weeks but you added physics.
I was walking along the cliff side trying to make it to the top of the world and came across a super mutant camp and I'm sniping taking pot shots and outta nowhere a mutant hound (that I'd 200% forgotten were a thing ) Takes a big ol bite out of my ass and I fucking screamed.
Be surprised they're bothering at all, I'm surprised they're gonna fix something instead of working around it like they usually fucking do.
They're adding ultrawide support which not even fallout 4 got, color me surprised and pleased.
It's still has a left handed bolt though...
Ok whoever thought making a scrappable item a quest item is fucking cancer. Because if you accidentally scrap it, your quest is now fucking broken.
My favorite quest is the one where you have to kill a specific npc, with a slow spawn rate, in an mmo. Server hop your heart out and he's dead in every single one
The level 1 mothman was probably the npc one that gives you a bonus to xp earned when interacted with
Push to talk is nice but I'd rather be able to talk to the nobodies who don't have microphones with text chat.
Seriously. I can't believe of all things they forgot this
(also I'm going to bite the bullet and make a F76 Facepunch discord room this week if not next
The Fire Breather's uniform is so nice.
Also anyone found a nice place to get aluminum yet? I never seem to have any to repair my guns.
I know most regulars here on this thread may have already gotten 76, but for anyone else on the fence or just want to know if the game is for you, Gggmanlives gives a pretty fair review of 76.

I fucking love that thumbnail
eh ironic clickbait is still clickbait.
Fort Defiance has a lot of surgical trays all over the place.
I swear, why is aluminium so hard to come by in 76, I never have enough of it, same with lead
Robots almost always drop lead. For aluminium you want to grab all the TV dinner trays, surgical trays, aluminium cans, and alarm clocks you come across. In Fallout 4 alarm clocks were also a source of nuclear material but that has been removed in 76, which makes nuclear material much harder to come by.
Robots drop lead and aluminium. Tin cans also contain lead now, and small oil cans have aluminium in them.
Go to the top of the world, or the location right next to it. There's a location with just a tonne of ski poles. They're worth two aluminum I think. Either way, I solved my aluminum second day of the beta by spending about an hour farming that location. Fast travel to it, run around looting all the aluminum, break it down at a nearby workbench, relog. Unless they've made some changes since the beta, everything should respawn. Repeat this as much as you like, netting about 16-20 aluminum per 10~ minute run iirc.
GggMan's video perfectly describes the vibes i was getting when playing the BETA.
I'll just stick to FO4 if I want more of FO4. That at least will allow me to mod the experience.
Also, the game on PC is capped at 30 FPS?! What the christ, no wonder why I thought the game ran like ass during the BETA, I thought it was poor optimization or something.
I thought it was 60.
the game is capped to 63FPS
Are you sure you don't have some sort of adaptive Vsync enabled? As some Vsync settings will have your FPS be at either 30 or 60
Why do rounds (seems to be .308 rounds specifically) get removed from my inventory when gathering from deposits sometimes? I've had it happen with mothman eggs, iron deposits and I think junk piles and I can't figure out why.
Did you reload just before you gathered? That's the only time I notice it showing the message but it doesn't actually remove anything, it's just showing when you reload.
I don't think so, but I'll pay more attention next time.
Gggmanlives covers it in his video that, somehow, a specific setting was draining his performance down to 30 or capping it to 30.
My machine might have been having the same issue somehow, because I am able to run FO4 at 60 in the wilderness areas, and FO76 should have been roughly the same.
I even lowered my settings for FO76 and IIRC it ran at the same 30ish fps.
