This game is actually pretty dope. Grouped up with two random low levels and explored for like 4 hours, it was pretty fun

Bethesda is probably one of the best in the industry at marketing, specifically BGS. I would be surprised if this game bombed financially

PC is really, really chill so far. Events go pretty smoothly, and I've run into a few friendly people on voice chat. Also horrified/amused a group with the Cannibal perk, fun times.

how does the cannibal perk work anyhow? does it just allow you to each scorched, ghouls, and mutants automatically?

Holy FUCK the carry weight game is ridiculous. i feel like most of my level ups have gone JUST into strength to make my carryweight suck ass, but even then you have to haul back to a station to sell/break down your junk goodies.

You can consume deceased Scorched, Ghouls, Mutants, Mole people, and players.

How did Bethesda release a 50gb patch on launch day? Jesus Christ. Bought the game and had like 3 hours that I figured would cover installing from disc and patching, now I won't get to play till the weekend. Nice

I'm guessing they can't patch into archives so you need to re-download entire files when they're updated.

These menus are atrocious it's like they never played another game before. Escape then z to access the options? I can't even use the camp properly because my keyboard is azerty, meaning forward is Z. But it doesn't get rebinded for menus. So I can't move forward when placing items. And I keep selecting stuff I don't want because of that. Also using the arrow keys to go through menus is a huge mistake. Why can't 2 people in a party use the same workbench at the same time? Other than that, the game is fun.

Kept getting disconnected at midnight, so I just went to bed and played a couple hours this morning before work instead. Probably made for a more sedate opening anyway without a bunch of people running around inside and outside the Vault. Saw some critters I didn’t see in the BETA already. Did they hold some of the game back until the full release after all?

if you like the gameplay/gunplay of Fallout 4 and want a larger map. It's fine and can be a lot of fun If you're looking for super deep story with a ton of different characters and interactions, then it's not for you. Ignoring complaints about lore and such (which I feel are a bit overblown) it's an alright game.
