Indeed, they should clarify what's to be included in each expansion but I get the feeling they're not sure yet either, or at least weren't when they announced the expansions. New locations should be the meat of it, and hopefully some will be suitable for the new outfits. I'd like a nice snowy outdoors map because the four winter outfits look out of place in most locations.
It's pretty obvious this is just a gear pack and it's coming with the expansion pass, they didn't call it expansion pack 1 or anything, the image says "Winter Sports Pack" and it says it's in your expansion pass.
anyway, I'm kind of curious what they're thinking with this new snow festival mission?
It's more time limited crap, but it's replayable, and has less effort put into it than ETs like Mark Faba. So what gives? Why is this replayable during certain times of year and never ETs?
why limit it at all? why are better missions limited even more than this one? what is IO trying to test the water for?
The Expansion Packs are going to have two full new levels, according to IO. This is just free sweetening content for buying the pass, probably because of the constant controversy over the fact you're buying it blind if you buy it.
What Jessica Cannon said, and also I think they've already tested the waters and this is the result. It's time limited like ETs and H2's Holiday Hoarders for the simple reason of getting people to buy the game before it's on sale, so they don't miss out on content permanently. I found the challenges really easy to complete, glad for the rewards, but as always the time limited stuff is a dumb marketing ploy and development time would be better spent on making permanent content.
I hate the time limited shit but I ultimately feel like this one is no big loss. I beat it in about 20 minutes total, 10 of which being me trying to find a bastard car battery. You can SA it in under a minute without cheesy tactics. Just pop the icicle the second he walks under it, and start jogging to the exit:

You can also SA it by starting as a gardener and injecting him in the back as his bodyguard walks right past him.
I couldn't even find the car battery so I used the remote taser + taps instead.
Honestly I feel like this was a fucking waste of dev time for IO. I appreciate having the ability to unlock the prologue outfit but at this point it just makes me frustrated that they're gating off the S1 outfits still. If they're gonna dripfeed THIS, then give us an Outfit Pack from S1 that we have to unlock by killing Dalia Margolis with a flying brick caused by the camera exploding infront of Viktor during the interview, while we're drowning Sato in the toilet. Even if it's fucking crazy and asinine to do, just give us those fucking outfits, please.
There is literally not a single good fucking reason why the S1 basic suits cannot be unlocked anymore. Like, not one. I would honestly love to use any of 47's starting suits in any location, and the dissonance of the wrong suit in the wrong climate is entirely a player choice, too, and entirely irrelevant to the narrative they're trying to do with the suits being location-specific. The player has to go out of their way to ruin their own immersion, so it's fine.
I just want more options, that's all. I wouldn't even use most of them, honestly, but having them there is nice as hell.
Fancy dress sim is a not insignificant part of this game, yes.

I booted my laptop today, Steam started updating Hitman 2, and suddenly my antivirus went crazy and said I was infected because of Hitman 2 ??
Reverifying the game files just makes the new exe it downloads get instantly flagged by the antivirus as well.
Did anyone experience this too? I mean, it's probably a false positive, but you never know for certain ofcourse.

Which means you should be able to download the Hitman 2 intro pack which is free, then use Hitman 1 to get the Legacy Pack for free.
Hitman 2 is no longer using Denuvo. I've already noticed faster load times, better optimization and that weird thing where if I was tabbed out for too long tabbing back in caused a massive lag spike that would last for the rest of the session
I wonder how compatability with stuff like Proton would be now that Denuvo isn't being used

I actually wasn't expecting much in the way of extra content for Hawe's Bay, I thought the level seemed to orchestrated with scripted events to make that feasible.

I remember there being this one ET really early in 16's lifecycle that was some musician running a party in paris that (iirc) blew pretty hard. I wonder if they'll shore up the bad ones or just replay the hits.

Who else is surprised that Hawke's Bay got an ET? I was looking forward to the suburban suit or the Mumbai one... Nope. But I love the wetsuit, gonna use it probably in Colorado and roleplay Splinter Cell.
Nice to see Legacy ETs are a thing. I was afraid we wouldn't be able to get season 1 suits.
