There's a tranquilizer actually Also it seems like you people don't really abuse 'Silent pacify' with non-lethal melee? Instead of doing emetic on church's balcony, you could just wait for both guard and worker to be here and beat both of them with a fish or whatever - it is indeed silent.
It's a difficult balance- they basically have to produce the gargantuan levels and then milk them dry to sustain the content churn for their GaS model. It's an approach that can really chew up and spit out devteams, but the reality is it takes way less time to exhaust content than it does for them to produce it. I do depending on the situation, but it seemed to me like the less viable option here. Regardless of the order I'd knock them out in, I'd need to take down the guard on the stairs with a throwable in the small time-frame before he reached the balcony (and discovered a body, if I did that first.) There's a chance the guard knockout would then be seen by others in the stairwell, or his falling body be heard, and it would then require dragging his body to the balcony anyway. Besides that, the subsequent search patterns after an accident kill can be somewhat erratic and unpredictable, and I didn't want to risk anyone searching the balcony and finding two unconscious bodies. As for knocking out both guard and staff on the balcony, it would require careful timing to make them face opposite directions, and the staff could see through my disguise, so it would have been much riskier than a simple jab to his back. Overall, it was just quicker and safer to use the emetic poison on the staff and wait about a minute for the guard to enter and leave. If knocking people out is the best option then I do that, on some ETs it's pretty much required.

Halloween theme on the roadmap is for featured contracts so don’t get hopes up

Are there any map details that you good people have been surprised to find so late? I've played 213 hours of HITMAN 2016, and 101 hours of HITMAN 2, yet somehow, only YESTERDAY did I discover that Villa Caruso's fountain contains three coins and sewer access. https://i.imgur.com/IeJkHbP.jpg https://i.imgur.com/HANPYzM.jpg For three years I've been walking past it, turning a blind eye, thinking it was decorative. Somehow I didn't even find it from inside the sewers until a featured contract led me through there. Incredible.
The thing that blew my mind was realizing that the fireworks in Hokkaido can be used to mask the sound of gunfire. The Striker escalation is meant to teach this, but I don't think too many people played it in a way that triggered that interaction.
Wait what? Also news to me, thanks. Amos Dexter stands on a balcony far from any witness and the striker blasts his body off the map, so it's really easy to escape and get SA after being heard anyway.
I'd spent like an hour trying to figure out why sometimes the gunshot didn't alert anyone when I booked it to Dexter's location as fast as possible.
edit: So long as I'm blowing minds, I did want to highlight another hidden feature. As you probably know, many different disguises and weapons have different idle animations: guard disguises will stand "at ease", for instance. This includes unique suits. This includes the clown and cowboy suits.
Were you standing on the balcony when you blasted him? Because gunshots aren't heard if there's at least 2 closed doors between you and someone else.

You might be able to knock people out with them if you put them far enough away, although this might just me talking out my ass. I've had people get knocked out by C4 bricks because they were far enough away from the blast.
I just did some research and I can confirm this. If you stand on the balcony with the door closed behind you, nobody will hear the gunfire, fireworks or not. As for whether fireworks actually mask gunfire, I'm not entirely convinced. In this spot, I fired my gun and didn't seem to attract attention regardless of whether there were fireworks: https://i.imgur.com/xKcoNv4.jpg (Ignore the fact I've been spotted, I took the screenshot after this next part:) Then I stood just beyond the threshold into the previous part of the room (where I've painted a green dot on the minimap) and fired the striker. I was heard every time. It would require a bit more testing in other parts of the map, but I'm not entirely convinced because the fireworks are barely audible even from the balcony. Why would a morgue doctor, for example, attribute a nearby gunshot to the unseen and unheard fireworks in the town below?

The new ET is The Undying Returns. Not the Undying in a new location or anything, it's literally just the same mission repeated with a different reward. I never had the chance to play it so that's actually quite nice for me, but I guess I'll never have that pen...

dont hold your breath, the undying returns is unique. he's not just a repeat, even people who killed him before get to play this. It's possible it's changed a bit too. Comes with a new reward even.
There was one for Santa Fortuna, it was the Revolutionary, iirc.
