i love how smooooooth dash dancing looks. i love dash dancing but it always has looked a bit awkward, these animations really help that out

Dash dancing feels REALLY good in PM, hopefully it feels just as good in 5mash.

I love that the items are so faithful to their original forms, albeit with buffs to make them more viable- makes it look like this came right out of an HD Castlevania game

I'm kinda curious and I'm sure this will only really matter to a few people but lets say rumors are true and Porky winds up being a DLC character. Would you prefer him A) Being Young Porky and he uses gadgets from across the series (including his original mech) or B) Being Old Porky and in his mother 3 spider mech I don't mind him getting in as I like Mother but I can't imagine Sakurai putting in a character who has no real animations himself- and I kind of like Younger shithead Porky more personally.

I'm siding with option A if only because I can see the capsule mech working better on a smaller scale than his bed mech

I could see something of him being a heavyweight mech that can have the mech be destroyed and goes into a pilot mode that's far more vulnerable but could get the mech back with good play. Something like dva from overwatch.

Man, I'm still really bummed that Snake doesn't have any new codec conversations. He was made out to be a big deal in the announcement trailer, and with Hayter saying he was reprising the role I was expecting a bunch of new stuff. He almost feels like less of a character this time around since literally everything about him sans animations and visuals is just recycled from Brawl, even his most unique feature that was such a big deal in Brawl. Palutena's Guidance doesn't even come close to the codecs.

You know that the Colonel has been retired though, right? Can't really do new ones without him.

Otacon and Mei Ling were in the codec conversations too. Hell, they could introduce Master Miller as a codec person considering they already have Cam Clarke doing Male Corrin's voice.

i mean, nothing says they can't use other characters, from MGS, it'd just make the comparatively smaller number of colonel codecs the stand out some.

Option A as a Bowser Jr style mech fighter. He's wearing his baller striped suit and is in his fucked up organic spider mech. Sounds really cool actually. I like it the more I think about it. lack of a spirit of any kind while other characters from mother *are* spirits, and he's completely missing as a boss character. this, if only for a spankety taunt.

Yeah, all the mario enemies are accounted for spirit-wise but Piranha Plant who happens to be a DLC fighter Mother has spirits for basically everyone from the main plots except Porky. Porky is just straight up not referenced at all in the game anywhere which seems a bit odd when he's shown up since Brawl and 4 (as a trophy)

Mario kart 8 Deluxe is easily the most fun Mario kart game I've played, with Double Dash being a close second. Once you play 200cc your perception of the series will never be the same

Also the codec for Snake that's "Wow people are excited that he's here in Super Smash Bros Brawl" wasn't changed so that's uhhhh that's kinda awkward.

200cc is what I've always wanted from mario kart, except certain tracks just become a nightmare such as neo bowser city. Bigger open tracks like moo moo meadows are pure thrills tho side note: within 2 days nobody in my house wants to play mario kart against me anymore
