Porky could probably work in his first 'spider mech' from Earthbound, but the problem is may not have much of a good amount of reference points for a moveset, in fact it feels more in-line to be a recolor of the real spider mech:

Again, how the heck do you make this work in size? Do you make it stand more straight up and risk it getting it really tall? Or do you keep it laid down and risk having weird perspective issues? At least with Ridley there was a variety of sizes to work from in terms of how he appeared in the games, but this guy's mech is usually huge as hell.
I guess you could try to make it so that Porky himself is relative in size to Lucas/Ness, and then make his Mech suit revolve around it, while also making sure it stays in a position so it looks possible and doesn't appear strange doing regular actions.
I mean, you can take for reference his boss model from SSE and shrink it down + add some new moves
I can understand the sentiment because it definitely does make it harder, but I thought it was pretty sick that 200cc Neo Bowser City basically required doing powerslides while braking to navigate certain areas. Made the game series feel precarious in a way that it hasn't in 3D since Banshee Boardwalk in MK64.

If people were interested in discussing them, chances are the threads would already be made.
I'd think they'd be using Robin Atkin Downes if anyone considering he's done Miller for the last few games. The Peace Walker theme is even in the game as a level theme.
Given that this thread is clearly dominated by Smash I'd argue that their posts about Brawlhalla or whatever would actually just get buried instantly.
I suggest keeping Smash as a separate thread and making a thread thats basically "platform fighters - but not smash" and wed be gucci
Porky's Spirit is the Absolute Safety Capsule if anything, it has no other reason to be in there other than representing Porky.
There's actually pretty frequent Brawlhalla and Rivals of Aether talk in the smash threads. Probably not enough to classify the thread as a 'platform fighter general' due to how quickly they get buried by smash, but they're still coherent discussions. I think most of the discussion about the Rayman and Shovel Knight announcements ended up taking place here.
But how can it represent Porky if he is not in it? I mean, yeah, he is IN it, but you can represent Porky with y'know, Porky himself, add a spirit with his Earthbound art or his Brawl render. If they wanted to avoid confusion, they should have added Absolute Safety Capsule (Porky) and be done with it. Fucking Buzz Buzz is a spirit, but not the antagonist of two Mother games?
The discussion for such games is so little that you might as well just keep it the Smash Bros general thread, but still be ok with discussions of promos, etc, for other platform fighters, which is how it's been in this thread, anyway.
There doesn't seem to be that much demand for it, but if you feel it'd be a good idea, a good compromise based on discussion rate is to keep it named specifically after Smash Bros and simply have referrals to existent ones at the bottom of the OP.

Huh, in the soundtrack "jump up superstar" is split into three files, the actual music in two of them and than the lyrics.
The instruments and vocals are split from the main track so that they play when you tag the musicians and Pauline that appear on the new donk stage,
Stage gimmick: If you touch the band players, it'll play the instruments. Touch Pauline, and the lyric kicks in.
Master Miller wasn't really Miller in MGS1 though, so it'd make sense to use the VA of who it really was.
The wait for Smash Ultimate has been longer than any game in recent memory.

I would legitimately be OK with Sans as a DLC character. Especially if his stage was the Undertale battle screen where you had to fight around bullet hell patterns.
