That, but with Minecraft. Even as someone who is neutral towards the game (as opposed to being a biased fan), I legitimately would be okay with Minecraft Steve as a fighter. I feel the IP is big enough and that the implications of having a non-Japanese indie title making it into the game via representation as a playable character would be really nuts.Of course, a stage would probably fit better, but I don't mind a fighter is what I'm saying.
I actually would like more Fire Emblem characters.
Minecraft isn't an indie game anymore, it's Microsoft-based. It's even included in Windows 10 packages afaik.
Wow can you believe that people are excited that Sonic is in the newest released Smash game Super Smash Brothers Brawl?
I would take Banjo getting in and using his N&B design over him not being in at all.
https://twitter.com/KONAMI573ch/status/1067583857225019394 so this is not only nintendo accounts i hope the '1 day left' image is posted by microsoft
I want Master Chief over Banjo

I would take MGS3 Big Boss instead of Solid Snake
I would shit a whole house and live in it for a day if that happened
So obviously the game isn't out yet, but I was wondering.. I've never gotten deep into a Smash game, in terms of trying to understand and get better competitively. Are there any resources out there for people like me to start understanding more competitive concepts, terms and strategies? I know there won't be anything for Ultimate specifically yet, but I'm assuming some of the main concepts would carry over?
Pretty sure Snake's facial model in Brawl is directly lifted from the PS2 games.
The only reason I like Snake in Smash Bros is because Konami no longer loves him.
Does selling a WiiU with an SD card in it that just has picture of ZSS's ass count?
so in defence of a day one patch 2018 not a spoiler just a match with a bigass glitch
One time, I was really bored one time and decided to try to come up with a fantasy roster where each character had to have two clones. (This was during Brawl era) I really wanted Excitebike Racer and Mach Rider to be on the roster, so I eventually just settled on "Koopa Troopa On A Bicycle" for the third and called it a day.
I think if Isaac ever got in he'd probably be fun to play as even if I dislike his series a lot. I just play up the hate because it's expected of me at this point.
Oh yeah, on the subject of platform fighters, Icons is really dead now. Not only are the servers gone, Valve pulled it off of Steam due to being unplayable. The original CEO and founders have no idea what's going to happen to the game because they completed the patch and the person that now owns it (likely a holder) went in the dark with no hired PR, no interaction with the community and no attempt to release the final build that is allegedly complete with a character that only Alpharad has gotten to play outside of the dev team.
I would legitimately lose my goddamn mind if they added an FFX character like Tidus, mostly cause I know they'd play up the game's cheese like they did with Xenoblade Also I'd want Tails more than Shadow as a second Sonic rep, I'd want MGR Raiden as a second Metal Gear rep, and am still holding out hope for Chrono someday
Not Necessarily smash secret but cross over game secret. I believed in mushroom kingdom hearts.
Who didn't?
I assumed people with common sense.
So, you guys want to hear a fun story? A little while ago, the following tweet was posted: https://twitter.com/MustyPlaysDBFZ/status/1067142490829086720 Now, if you are not aware, Lylat Cruises platforms can be a bit buggy when it tilts, resulting you sometimes going through them completely. It bugged many tourney goers, as sometimes you would win or lose just if Lylat felt like it. This resulted in many people wanting it to be banned entirely! But in the end, it stayed in most rules as it didn't happen all the time, there weren't great alternatives and Ultimate was just around the corner (kinda like how Pokemon Stadium is legal in Melee!). So when "Hazardless" option was announced for Ultimate, people rejoiced as Lylat wouldn't tilt anymore, so none of that jank wouldn't happen again and Lylat would be a great legal stage! But then this tweet got around and people got talking once more! Some users blamed him of holding the control stick down, but he replicated it without holding down and recording it! But now we get to the fun part! Turns out it's not Lylat, but something else that sucks here. Literally AND figuratively; https://twitter.com/PracticalTAS/status/1067583890762735618
No...not my boy! I hope this gets patched (heck, maybe even on Day 1). I'm not sure what I'll do if Kirby's recovery is broken indefinitely, since I love to play as him in every game that isn't Melee.

well it's at least not totally unavoidable, nor does it apply to all stages https://twitter.com/PracticalTAS/status/1067585196063670277
her being 17 kind of explains the lack of power behind a lot of the vocals, but still, super good singing.
Hot damn, that's genuinely impressive. For not even being a legal adult at the time, that's a pretty "womanly" voice she has going there. Pretty much a repeat of Xander Mobus being able to nearly perfectly emulate Pat Cashman's intonation at as young as 22, I guess. And of course, the singer for the Japanese version is the same lady who sang the first intro and credits for the Kirby anime.
I did this exact same thing when Smash 4 came out! Who did you end up using for Dedede's clones?
