I pinged you because I was joking about how this is how we can bring you back from the dead, but I didn't wanna possibly bother you so I just snipped it .
Oh, it's no bother. I did see the Mettaton earlier, though. I preordered one right away.
Not completely, I still lurk from time to time.
I just don't draw as much as I used to so I don't really post anymore. All of the threads I used to frequent are either dead, on life support, or for games/topics better enjoyed in a vacuum. I mostly hang out on Discord now for any kind of discussion.

Made this in school yesterday. Pretty proud of it.
Man I'm so dumb, I always hated Undertale because of the big kid bandwagon that hopped on it, but I figured Deltarune's pretty sweet and soundtrack is wicked. Until I realized Deltarune's just an anagram for Undertale. Now I gotta play Undertale
The fandom can be obnoxious, but ignore all that and play Undertale and you'll understand why it got as popular as it did, its worth it.
The fandom is huge ergo the capture net for terrible people is even bigger and you only really notice the bad ones.
That being said there was a "hit or miss" Deltarune joke less than three days after it dropped so I guess we're starting where Undertale bottomed out and going downhill from here.
Fuck me, I thought I was in for a fun meme video, but the "I can't lose you" scene followed by a Flowey/Asriel montage had me tear up all of a sudden. Damn, I really am a massive softie.
Now imagine playing a 4-8hr game you thought was a giant meme and instead leaves a hole in your heart that hasn't healed after 4 years
Normally I don't get so worked up about video games but dang if that shitty dog avatar man didn't manage to pierce the cold hardened steel of a some veteran of video games with over 15 years of service leaving him in an emotional state that he couldn't quite reconcile.
It made me feel things I never felt before, and in some ways I want to feel them again... and in other ways I don't because those feelings were special.
To go off piste just a little bit, interestingly enough what made me get over those feelings was actually playing DooM 2016 and revelling in bloodlust for a while, edgy as it may sound when yo've had your fill of soft
hearted feels it makes the contrast with the carnage feel THAT much better.
UT is definitely one of the only game that I got emotional about. Most other games I've played before that had good stories and gameplay etc but it never got me that feeling I got when playing UT the first time, and damn do I wish I could forget everything about it and play it blind again.
Apparently hollow knight does the same from what I've heard so I could try that game, not sure though.
