Uh, didn't Milton or someone explicitly say that Molly wasn't the one who was ratting the gang out, too? In fact, I want to say he also told you outright that Micah was cooperating with the Pinkerton's. Milton might have been lying, but considering the amount of times you go on missions without Micah only to get caught off guard by the feds was pretty damning as well.
I mean you'd that'd be enough for everyone.
So when you log off your horse doesn’t despawn..

No. They tried to get Molly to rat them out but she didn't
Im just not one to assume something in a story no matter how much circumstantial evidence there is. Im the kind of person to doubt a character's death until Ive seen their dead body.
Micah is undoubtedly a scumbag, I didn't and would never argue against that. He's just too obvious to be the rat, in my opinion. He sucks Dutch's cock on the regular because he just wants to use him to make money.
And Ive been around drunk people, but not one as stupid as Molly would have had to be to say what she did. You'd think after however long she'd been with the gang, she'd know the only outcome of saying something like that. Not to mention her long absence after Chapter 4.
Frankly, Im not 100% convinced that there was a rat. Between Bill "asking everyone he could" to find them at the end of Chapter 5, the fact that the pinkertons were able to find them in Chapter 3 (which even Milton says there wasn't a rat at that point), and Dutch's gang being way the fuck too brazen for people who are supposed to be lying low, there's no reason the pinkertons wouldn't have been able to find the gang every time they did without help.
Milton clearly has no integrity by the time he fires upon them in Chapter 5 without a chance to surrender, or when he murders Hosea just to piss off Dutch. Why would you think he'd be above lying to sow discord among his enemy?
Doesn't Micah admit he was the traitor in the epilogue? I think when John confronts him about that he says something like "I'm just doing what I gotta do to survive"
I'm not sure.
If he said something that vague, context matters a lot. Is it in reference to being a rat, or killing Arthur?
Listen, I hated Micah and I was mad hype to kill him. Even on my first playthrough I wanted to leave him for dead in the Strawberry jail, simply on the grounds of being a dumbfuck who represented unneccesary risk to the gang.
Im just not willing to assume he was the rat without incontrovertible evidence or an explicit confession from himself.
I don't honestly know where you're coming from with what you're saying now, you've completely lost me, there's no underlying thing about this really, it's pretty fucking straight forward to be honest.
Im not sure where Im being unclear.
There is no uncontrovertible evidence that Micah ratted out Dutch's gang to the pinkertons. We only have a bunch circumstantial evidence that could easily be coincidence, and the word of a man with no honor who hates Dutch's gang.
I'm not trying to defend Micah's character, only that we can't be dead certain he was the rat, from an objective standpoint.
To be honest, I think Micah turned rat just before the Blackwater massacre, there's various snippets of conversation, that pretty much state it was his plan that they went with and that's when shit started going downhill for the gang.
Molly might have drunkenly said she ratted them out, but that was to get a rise out of Dutch as he's being an asshole towards her.
Milton keeps showing up near or at your camp long before Molly gets fed up with Dutch's treatment of her, so it's obvious there's a rat around and it ain't her.
For someone who is fairly new, Micah is overly aggressive and divisive, worming his way to Dutch's side, in a way where he's doing it on purpose, not as an accidental byproduct. Plus there's the bank robbery in st Denis itself, they've been set up and oh would you look at that, unlike every other member of the gang, Micah is wearing a bright fucking white suit, like he wants to stand out from the others (so as not to get shot as he's setting the gang up).
If he wasn't a rat, and wasn't trying to be divisive and getting Dutch to go with his worse impulses so as to set him up to fail, he wouldn't behave as much of an asshole as he is without expecting to get lit the fuck up,.he's a six month newbie to the gang, being an asshole to almost everyone in the camp as if he's a longtime member, pandering to Dutch's ego pretty much keeps him alive.
I firmly believe that his deal with Milton, involved him getting the money from blackwater (and getting off Scott free) in exchange for the gang, as he's constantly pushing To go back for the money, And then when they got away, he changed roles to get Dutch to rush into things to get the gang killed or caught, to keep up his deal, since they probably weren't meant to escape blackwater
These are all definitely really great points that support Micah being a rat.
Although it makes me wonder, if he's a rat for the Blackwater money, why is he still with Dutch 8 years after things fall apart? Why would Agent Milton tell Arthur that Micah is the rat, but lie about when he recruited him? He claimed that Micah only started cooperating after their return from Guarma.
I really appreciate the nuance in this story. We never get a solid confirmation of Micah's treachery, but plenty of reasons to suspect him. That helps us be on Arthur's side with Arthur really does believe he's the rat. It's not as straight-forward as "we know for sure Micah was a rat" or "he definitely wasn't". That nuance really strengthens the narrative in my opinion, and makes it something we can still be discussing weeks after finishing the story. I love a story that will let you think for yourself rather than explicitly give you the answers.
I think Micah got comfortable being the one to lead Dutch by the nose. If you read the letter, from Micah's brother, it's fairly clear he's scum, so he's a rat, not a mole (i.e really a Pinkerton, though that letter itself could be subterfuge though I doubt it) Micah does what's best for Micah, though Milton executing Hosea in the street might have made Micah wonder if Milton would double cross him in the end.
As for Milton lying, it's a good way to fuck with people, admitting he's a rat, but not being accurate as to just when. Yes there's a lot of reading between the lines, but if you're looking and taking note, it's obvious. It helps that I got up to chapter 6, had an inkling Micah is the rat,and restarted the story so I was on the lookout for all the little clues.
This is a gang, that's been running, generally successfully for TWENTY years if not a little more, yet not long after Micah joins, it all goes downhill in a serious way.
Plus there's a couple of western tropes, such as Micah wearing a white hat when I'm fairly sure everyone else wears dark hats.
I just finished the epilogue a few days ago so this is still fresh in my mind - Micah and Dutch were not together those entire 8 years between the story and epilogue. When Dutch bursts out of the cabin, Micah says "Yes, Dutch and I are teaming up once again". The impression I got was that Micah and Dutch had just recently, perhaps even within days, just got back in touch after all those 8 years and were, at least to Micah's perspective, "teaming up" rather than regrouping. The wording sounds like Micah saw Dutch as an equal, which we know Dutch never would agree to.
Welcome to the continued adventures of Oh God are my glasses broken?
Wasn't Micah only a part of the gang for less than a year? I think Arthur stated that at the cave camp, but I'm not sure if he meant Micah was only in the gang for a few months or if he knew Dutch before officially joining the gang.
I believe that's true, and it's said prior to that when you break him out of jail in Strawberry. Something akin to "for the past 6 months you've been in the gang you've been a pain in the ass". Honestly, it just makes Micah leeching Dutch's attention from everyone else in the gang all the more strenuous and insulting to the older members, especially Arthur who "was there from the beginning".
Has anyone found a use for the high roller revolver we get for free in online? It seems worse than the cattleman revolver in every way apart from spamming shots in shotgun range.
It's just a reskinned Double Action.
So, it has no use.
Continuing my proud tradition of naming my horses after Bloodborne references for some reason (hence why I named my first one Ludwig), I bestowed the name of Amelia upon my finest, black, female Arabian horse.
Originally I wanted to name her Maria of the Astral Cloptower, but then I slapped myself in the face
Only ended up using 5 of the 15 gold on clothes. Finally got rid of the dirty brown duster.

I have only ever named my horses after movie cowboys.
The Duke
Clint E
McQueen
and then my epilogue horse Wayne.
Milton works for the government, he has respect for the government but not for people who don't abide by it's laws, such as Dutch and his gang, so when you say he has no honour, I don't see how this applies when he's coming from a different point of view.
He has no honour for outlaws? Well no shit he won't, to him and the government he serves, they're scum and need to either be hung, shot or jailed, I understand his point of view perfectly clear, he's not dishonourable from the governments point of view but obviously will be from an outlaws perspective because he doesn't walk their dodgy as fuck path.
You can speculate all you like to be honest but I really don't see the point in doing so since there's nothing hidden.
I really like fishing. Hasn't been a problem for me in Online unless I'm in the bigger city, but you barely catch anything there anyway from what I've noticed.
This is such a tranquil fucking game, I'm probably still gonna play this like 50 years from now.

Nah dude you need to replay all that.
Milton says he has had a rate ever since the gang got back from guarma
Fishing is great, but I get annoyed at how long it takes to reel things in, or maybe I'm doing it wrong I don't know
I can't seem to catch more than two or three fish in a single trip because my hand gets sore/tired from spinning the analog stick around.
Wiggle the other stick up then down while you're reeling it in as it's not fighting, so that you're lowering and then pulling back the rod while you're reeling in, it'll make bigger fish come closer to you a bit easier and small and medium fish be reeled in a lot faster.
I've only been pulling back, not also lowering my rod. I'll try that, thanks.
Yeah lower then raise, lower then raise, keep it at a steady rhythm, large fish will get a little boost in being reeled in, medium fish a bigger boost and small fish just fucking zoom in doing this, while reeling. Like unless they bite really far out, medium and small fish will pretty much only have time to struggle once
what's the most reliable way to rank up? i need my shitty german pistol but have like 10-15 levels to go
Knowing this about Fishing makes it a lot more bearable, still a fucking pain on the right thumb however.
