Do the last mission repeatedly, farming execution kills at fort mercer with split point ammo.
If you want to ruin that mission and can stand doing the same shit over and over again, it's fucking boring as hell.
Honestly everything in the beta right now is boring as hell aside from the showdown stuff. A grind is a grind.
I use the palm of my hand when I do the spinning. Better control as well as more comfortable.
Also, went on a fishing & hunting trip with my buddy today. Didn't earn much, but we had a great time. <3

So the game has been out for over a month and only now did I realize why there isn't a Colt 1911 in this game like the first
It was a FN Model 1903 actually, and it was a bullshit OP weapon that made every revolver useless.
So we'll make it worse for ourselves by repeating the same one thing?
I would have totally loved to have dual colt 1911's if they had them.
Then RDR2 would be a john woo movie.
I hate how you can't refill your special ammo types on the mission screen. Once you unlock express ammo, there's really no reason to use regular ammo. The price difference is so small that it doesn't matter.
How does one successfully catch the Legendary Sockeye Salmon if the lake is covered in ice?
There is a sliver of water open near the head of the fish drawing on the map, but all I've caught so far is 5 muskie so I figuring I'm in the wrong spot.
Are you is not a regular lake lure or the special lake lure?
So I finally reached chapter VI and oh boy if things are really starting to pick up and get increasingly grim to build up the finale. I'm also starting to like Arthur's whole redemption arc more than John's from the original game.
The only very small issue I have at this point of the main story is that Arthur actually suffering the effects of tuberculosis, while heart-wrenching and a welcomed blend in narrative and gameplay, doesn't translate very well in such an open world game as Red Dead Redemption II. Especially if you are someone like me and you are taking your time to clear side quests and activities along the way, which is now somehow harder and slower.
Another thing I'd like to mention is that, althought (again) I know full well this isn't a roleplaying videogame, this game has a very inconsistent tracking of the quests player have already finished and how.
Some times finishing a mission (be it a main or a stranger one) before another will produce an unique reaction from NPCs or a specific line from Arthur, but consider the following story [CHapter VI spoilers]:
I just returned from Guarma and decide to do the available stranger quests before the main ones
I went to Annesburg and completed the two side quests involving Edith and Archie Downes (Do Not Seek Absolution II and II)
At the end of said quests, both Edith and Archie leave the town for good
Later, during the events of That's Murfree's Country, a main quest, Arthur will casually meet Edith in Annesburg prostituting herself. He'll recognize her and so will she, urging him to go away
So either the woman decided to come back to town and be a whore, regardless of all the help and money I gave her and her son, I triggered the related side quests earlier than I was supposed to and therefore the game wasn't prepared for this eventuality or the developers just postulated that the player would do the related missions only after that event
Are you sure you're getting your Timeline correct?
Do Not Seek Absolution doesn't appear till Chapter 6, and "That's Murfree Country" is the final mission in Chapter 5.
Been using the special lake lure. Had no idea you could use eagle eye to spot legendary fish, that's going to be super helpful.
Unfortunately I can't just toss dynamite in and get it because John can't swim
Yeah, I wish there was a larger selection of pistols and revolvers. The Mauser and Borchardt don’t really do it for me, but I get that because of the time period, there’s not much of a selection of pistols that they can use, though really they should have just thrown in the FN 1903, since the Auto-5 is already in there and production for that didn’t start until 1902.
As for revolvers, the Remington 1875 continues to get the shaft.

Cripps dude wtf, I finish a mission, spawn near annesburg and you move my camp all the fucking way to Rio bravo, I oughta fucking shoot you
I'm fairly sure, yes.
I did some research out of sheer curiosity and yes, apparently the whole situation is indeed a bug/glitch or sort, because the epilogue shows without any room for error that both not only took up Arthur's help to leave the city but also become wealthy business owners after the time skip
When/where? I must have missed that.
God, I fucking hate Scrawny Nag. My good horse dies and I have to ride this piece or shit with like 5 stamina to the stable across the map. Even after I get my horse back, it goes back to Scrawny Nag when I go to a new server.
If you get the scrawny nag killed after a couple of minutes when you whistle your regular horse will show up, at least that's how it's worked for me the couple of times my horse has died.
In total despite it not being much on it's own, I've spent probably $30 before that cunt moves the camp to a place that I actually want, multiple times now have I selected a location to have him move it somewhere else, only to then do the same location for him to then move it there, what the fuck was the problem the first time? Just wasting my money.
According to the wiki, before the final mission in rdr 1 there are two marks in beecher's hope where abigail and john will be buried. does anyone have a picture of this?
So apparently on PS4 if you reset certain challenges and quickly close the application you can keep earning 30 gold nuggets each time. I've been doing it for about an hour or so and I'm at 25 gold bars.

Only the picture of the burials
We are here today to mourn the loss of MightyLOLZOR's rockstar account
Nah this guy's been doing dis shit for ages now, taking advantage of shit.
POST epilogue spoiler:
I thought getting $8 a day was kinda shitty for all that ranch work, but after playing through with an inflation calculator, the ranch is making actually about $215 a day by 2018 standards. Assuming that John probably works on it 6 days a week, he's making $1,290 a week / $67,080 a year which really is NOT bad at all
Granted, this game has a very bad habit of introducing at the very least one new antagonist per chapter and dedicating each as little screen time as possible before they are diposed of, but damn if watching O'Driscoll coming to the realization that no one is coming to rescue him as he's about to be hanged in chapter VI is satisfying as hell
Yeah but fuck that be noise, here's $20k lol.
I took the time to shoot his head just to make sure.
