How so?
Red Dead Redemption 2 Full Compendium
It's too difficult to keep counting through page after page to see which I'm exactly missing.
That will happen at all the former campsites IIRC.
Interesting, I'll have to check that out. So far the only camps I've revisited is the first one, because of the graves, and Shady Bell, but that one is always covered with Lemoyne Raiders.
What's up with the Special Spinner you get after catching all the legendary fish?
I toss a worm in a lake and catch 10 fish, I cast out the special spinner and stand idle for an hour.
I've tried in lakes, rivers, and multiple parts of the swamps and have never caught anything with it. What am I doing wrong?
I think it's bugged. I got one in the online mode from some weekly event, and I barely catch anything with it.
Update. Just beat it like two days ago. My father watched the last act with me, it was great.
Shame RDR Online is a bust, I'll probably cancel my XBL subscription because of this.
At the moment it's fairly worthless, the greedy direction they're taking the game in is already as clear as day, nobody's going to give them shit though because you're likely to get ignored, possibly banned or have your thread downvoted if it's on Reddit, because bubble thingy and Reddit.
Yeah, I was more willing to give Rockstar a pass on GTA Online, because there were plenty of ways around the grind, (money glitches, modded accounts, etc.) But in Red Dead Online, there's nothing like that at the moment.
You were willing to give them a pass because of exploits to get arou- I'm sorry what? How is that a pass?
"Oh yeah guys, your game is broke in some ways which lets me skip some grinding, so you get a pass for not having a flawless game."
I never felt like I HAD to buy shark cards in GTA online, but in Red Dead, they're really pushing those gold bars.
I always felt like I should be buying Shark Cards in GTA Online because of how fucking terrible the grind is, you want to enjoy something new they've added to the game? Yeah just play a bunch of PvP or PvE missions until you eventually get the money, you're playing for fucking hours to get enough money required, like with the Arena shit, buying the workshop and then customising a vehicle is like, $1,500,000 or whatever, I'd do Contact Missions most of the time because PvP is too unpredictable for my liking in GTA, it's full of shit, so I'd be getting like $15k or so per mission, I would have to do 100+ fucking missions to get the money together and I still think I'm short on how much you need.
Now that money you earn is variable based on time spent during the mission and if it's one of the newer ones they added since they give the most, the earlier lower level missions are dog shit and give worthless amounts of cash, so we're talking like, 10 - 20 minutes per mission, let's average that to 12 minutes instead, it's not entirely accurate since it's usually less time than the actual average, but it helps my point stand better, let's say $18k per mission aswell, fuck it, that's $1.8 million for 100 missions, that's 7,200 minutes or 120 hours, or 5 straight days.
5 days in real time, to get that much money, FIVE. STRAIGHT. FUCKING. DAYS. How about, no.
Whereas Shark Cards, you can spend like, £11.99 for $1,250,000, takes like a minute if you've already got your details in, if not, about 5 minutes or so, boom, you have your money, another £5.99 for $500,000, $1,750,000 in the space of a couple of minutes, or you just play online against human opponents or repeat the same fucking missions over and over again, Dispatch I - V or VI I can't remember.
It's bullshit, typing up this post aswell, fuck 'em, I'm not bothering, the singleplayer is the worthwhile part for like one or two playthroughs depending, but it's going to get ignored once again probably, if they release singleplayer DLC then fucking hell, I'll be surprised.
Really sucks that RDR2 sorta died out. Finally got around to finishing the epilogue the other day and it reminded me of how fucking great this game was and how it was genuinely about the only thing I was interesting in doing outside of work for a good 3 or 4 months after it came out.
I got red dead 2 on launch and still haven’t completed it.
ive easily clocked in about 200 hours and I’m on chapter 6.
not played online yet.
i don’t know the ending yet but I’m just afraid , so I keep not doing main missions:/
Not sure what reason there is to doubt here. They've always released pc ports except for rdr1 afaik which had something to do with some major troubles with the development if i remember right.
Considering the amount of revenue gta v got from re-releasing the game on pc and new gen consoles it'd be a weird decision not to do it again. It's practically a risk free investment.
I'd get Red Dead in an instant if someone made a mod to make it work in VR like with GTA5.
Oh yeah and i'd also have to save money to get a VR headset.
I have to say, I wouldn't buy a PC port.
Don't get me wrong, I loved the single player campaign and all, but it has little to no replay value to me, even taking the (sparse) honor-related cutscenes into account.
The real value in playing the game on PC would be to take full advantage of the online mode, but ... you know ...
I think it is realistically likely that we'll see an announcement of the PC version at E3 or right before.
New Red Dead Online update is out, and it's fucking huge.
Red Dead Online
There's also the "leaked" PC options.

Same thing happened with GTA5 (options window and some basic gameplay was shown) before it was officially announced.
Most important part of the update:

If only that stuff was available in the Single Player, I’d totally main the LeMat
got 100 bucks and 15 gold(?) for logging in this update
maybe this won't be so bad?? who am i kidding it's rockstar of course it will but a man can hope
I'd play it again on PC just to have better visuals. I played it on Xbox one (Original), and it's not even 1080p. Very blurry.
According to the patch notes, this update also fixed the issues with ambient occlusion that everyone was pissed about.
I'd play it again on PC just for the good aiming. The aiming in RDR2 still wasn't good enough for me to go full free-aim and relying on lock on made gunfights get kinda boring near the end. I'd love to do all those gunfights but while being able to actually aim quickly and precisely like a real gunslinger would.
If there's poker, and you can buy in-game currency with real cash, doesn't this make it actual gambling?
