Minor Chapter 4 spoilers
So is the weather scripted during the party that comes after you rescue Jack? Cause Dutch went on this rant about going off to the new world, like Tahiti, Fiji and Australia, and raged at how America was ruined by European "peasantry," and told those sitting about the campfire that they needed to have faith in him, and as soon as he said that, there was thunder rolling in the distance, and my god it was perfect.
If that was coincidental, damn, I wish I captured it.
You can also enter the theatre, was really nice to actually walk around in it. Although I don't know if you can also do that in SP.
I'm not gonna come in here and say I have the coolest horse and coolest online character and took the coolest photo of all time buuuut

i totally did
yee haw motherfuckers
Kinda hate how there are like 2 poses in photo mode and that's it.
They do "shuffle about" a bit on each pose so you can get some variety in there.
Can't even get crossed arms to work. Female characters seem to just stand there or kneel.
I think poses are broken right now. For females at least. Only two seem to be working. I just want one where I point my gun at the camera.
Does anyone know if I swing my honor the other way in Online does it let me play the missions locked behind that honor? Or is it just the first time through you only get the honor you chose/had and you can't go back to play the missions from the other honor level.
You can swing back and forth to collect all the missions, actually not too hard to do in online, compared to SP
Don't know if I was just too dumb to notice, but did you guys know that double tapping the emote buttons changes the intensity of the emote you want to do? Like in GTO.
Mhm.
I'm not optimistic they won't just fuck things up really.
>all activities appropriately rewarding and fun
if GTAO is any indication, that isn't and never will be a priority.
Im gonna go with cautious optimism, but I still expect a grind no wonder-update where I wont need microtransactions to get what I want.
Maybe, just maybe, Ill be able to deck out 1 gun in gold without microtransactions? I guess we'll see.
Hunting/fishing prices about to get nerfed, I expect
Either that or they increase the payouts but also up the prices so it's basically the same.
Call it a nationality bonus if you will, but the main villain of chapter IV is one of my favorite thing from the main story this far.
Between the obvious nods to The Godfather and English VAs trying their best to sound genuinely Italian, it's like I'm playing Assassin's Creed II all over again
Yeah, fuck em. Bought all the camp upgrades with money from my own pocket though.
If anyone whos making a new char online wants different starting clothes, if you exit game when you get to the wardrobe, it'll randomise the clothes when you reload.
So you can retry to get a duster/leather jacket etc.
So someone pointed this out to me the other day and I can't stop thinking about it.
Jack Marston's outfit at the end of RDR1 looks a bit like Arthurs default outfit at the start of RDR2

If you'd said jacket then fair enough, but outfit? Not really.
Well, jacket and pants I suppose. The bigger aspects of each outfit.
You know if there's something in this game that bugs me, it's how long it takes to "line up" at shot, the reticle takes a good while to shrink enough that it's worth taking the shot, but if it's not a headshot then you've gotta wait again to do it, in multiplayer this is a fucking nightmare as far as I'm concerned, not only do we have locking as a thing so if you spam shots one might hit them or the RNG Gods might bless you and have that one shot be a headshot; Sniper Rifles suffer from this in that there's no aim assist at all and you have to get a headshot for it to be a kill, and given how much people move about and jitter around online, good luck with that.
I'm not surprise why one of the weapons is a Double Barrel Shotgun, that shit takes almost no fucking skill to use, yet somehow earns more points than a Repeater that actually does take skill to use.
I hope they do something about auto aim or something in deathmatch.
I sure do love getting shot in the head from god knows where from some kid who didn't even see me (and I sure as hell didn't see him) and just spammed Left Trigger to lock on.
Apparently one of the best way to grind XP right now is to keep doing the mission "Kill Them, Each and Every One". For some reason, the game gives you split point ammo for your repeater in that mission only. Special ammo gives you 5 more XP per kill, and when you combine that with the extra 10XP you get from execution kills, that's about 36XP total per kill. You basically just run into the fort, execute as many enemies as possible until you run out of lives and repeat the process.
Use: Xbox Streamable
Enter gamertag, find clip, make video, and it auto embeds into FP.
Just earned enough gold bars to grab the off hand holster. Apparently the second gun does not carry over into competitive modes that allow your own weapons though, which fucking sucks.

I feel like showdown has gotten laggier since the beta opened up for more people. I shot a guy in the head and it looked like he died, but his body teleported away and killed me. What?
Not even sure what happened here, I couldn't attack for some reason
