I fully expect prices for pelts and carcasses and fish to be slashed, along with a minimal increase in payouts.
We found someone trying to get fish the easy way so my partner taught him a lesson in how it feels to be a helpless fish.

Can you do all the "bad" honor missions, then get your honor up to good and do the good missions on the same char online?
Yes you can, my cowboy’s honor has gone up and down more then a slide whistle
Is there any way to do missions solo online? I wanna grind missions, but people keep stealing my kills.
If they lower the income potential from hunting in any way i hope the community fucking roasts them for it
Hunting and living off the land seem so ingrained in RDR2 that it'd be insulting for them to diminish that.
I'm just starting to get to the point where I can hunt in online, so if they nerf that as a way of making money than I'll probably stop playing online completely until something viable appears.
Rockstar is really riding that fine line where the online mode feels precariously ready to topple over into complete bullshit balancing and I'm not convinced Take2 will control their greed.
After finally scraping together 360 bucks for the damn rolling block rifle hunting is finally enjoyable in Online so if they nerf it I'll just quit and go back to single-player.
I only hunt with my Schofield and my repeater because I need all my money for fancy clothes
Can't get perfect pelts with a repeater, or even be guaranteed a good pelt, and that's where the good cash is.
I got a perfect from my repeater on a deer before
I shoot and kill everything that moves or makes a sound while I'm out hunting, so I'm still earning good cash because of the huge amount of things I skin. Most of them are still good quality. Also, there are a bunch of animals that still give perfect pelts if you kill them with a repeater, small alligators for example.
I just earned about 75-100$ by hunting this way for like half an hour
Don't you mean bolt action rifle? Last I checked the rolling block was like 600+$
Ah yeah, my bad, I mean this one

Don't forget the mounted turret. That thing gives 5 points per kill and you can easily mow down people as they're spawning in.
Incase you don't know, you can buy a scope for the bolt action for like 80 bucks, can help with those perfect shots, and you can toggle having it activated or nit
Yeh, I know! I decked it out with a scope, rifling and iron sighs!
I put who-the-fuck-knows-how-many hours into this game and only today, out of curiosity while I was browsing the Web, I discovered how to dual-wield handguns.
This is somewhat alleviated by the fact I enjoy carefully and meticulously picking my targets from a distance via hedshots more than just go in guns blazing, to be honest
Jesus, the online beta has barely been up for a week, and I've already seen a few level 100 players.
They've probably been using this method
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lkiwv-ds4AE
I thought the beta was capped to 50?
I'm still level 7, but then again I've been playing off and on for a few hours here and there.
I passed by a dude in Saint Denis who was just farming cop kills. He was hiding in some alley with a choke point and taking them out as they came in.
Top things that need to be fixed ASAP so I won't have a rage fit and quit the game
Pelts despawning from your horse after you've died because some jerkfuck thought it'd be fun to headshot you while you were skinning
Animal carcasses despawning because you had the audacity to look away from it for 5 seconds
There's also one rooftop that can only be accessed by a single ladder, and I've seen people just sit ontop of said rooftop and allow cops to slowly go up the ladder & headshot them.
Point #2 also seems to affect gang hideout raids. I've had the leader despawn in front of me so I couldn't get the map off of him.
In my case, I think it maybe related to the amount of bodies lying nearby as there were a lot of gang members and I could see them fade away only leaving the ones in the centre of the camp (from something like 20 gang members, I was left with ~9 in the middle).
Fuck that, no thanks, the mission variety is already shit enough as is, I'm not gonna make one of them uber shit to play.
Give me more missions involving trains
I dont know what it is but fighting on a moving platform gives me life
It's dynamic, rather than just taking cover behind a crate or something and popping out to shoot enemies, you're doing so while moving through the world, could even knock people off the train and what not too, it's a lot more interesting at the very least anyway.
