Hopefully they don't pull a Ubisoft and make them run through their shitty launcher even with Steam.
An account will probably only be required for online components and not even use the launcher itself, if Quake Champions is anything to go by.

So serious sam 3 might just turn out to be the mod creator's option for doom 2016
I'd actually love to see more substantial mods for Serious Sam 3/Fusion, it's a really capable engine, it runs well, and it looks fantastic
Gmanlives (he changed his name wtf) uploaded a video today of some mad man who remade a few levels of Duke 3D in the Serious engine and it looks insane.

Anyone know an old Doom mod where one of the weapons was an Uzi that you hold sideways, and the first level is some sort of corporate building?
anecdotally from what ive heard from mod developers working in the fusion engine, the scripting engine seems pretty incapable of a lot of stuff. sadly
I just stumbled upon a newly released game that is made in that old FPS Creator engine, never thought of actually seeing a full game being released using it

The same stock content as always, blocky levels and ridiculous over ambition.
The amount of FEAR fangames that community put out is absurd considering you literally couldn't do anything in the engine that made that game so unique

That's a pretty cool soundtrack they've got going on. Hopefully synthwave hasn't outstayed its welcome.

Well it is just a Spin-off, it's just like Old Blood.
according to Steam DB, Youngblood was added to steam only 2 days ago, so it really does seem like this came out of nowhere
Arkane Studios is being promoted as the co-developer; I wonder if they merely have a support role, contributing art assets, etc, or if they have a significant part in the game's design. It'd be interesting if Youngblood has some immersive sim elements.
