Shhh that never happened.....
Just use Eduke
Wow the devs at id are clearly having WAY too much fun making Doom Eternal
Theyre taking it to 11 cause they know they can now and everyone will love the hell out of it
so that's why he flew to sweden for a day.
Seems like the MP armors are still pretty similair to 16 but I guess I'll wait till we get a clearer shot

That's from a promotional image for DOOM 2016's multiplayer

Speaking of MP, i hope if it has the same style of customization this time we get helmets with visors. Having one visor helmet and the rest made of lights was very disappointing to me
I want doomslayer's and OG doomguy's helmet as a customization piece we can mix and match and not just limited to the slayer's model
Can you even do that glory kills challenge on PC? AFAIK, there's no Bethesda account integration for the Steam version.
Would love Quake Ranger's armor, too. Quake 1's aesthetics and design need more love outside it's sequels.
Plus who wouldn't like playing as Ranger kicking demon ass. Poor guy hasn't done that since 1996.
Would love to see a Quake single player game again that uses the setting of the first game.
Here's my take on Facing Worlds for Smash Ultimate (ID: MB52VWG1)

If "Let the Battles Begin" and "Fight On" weren't the only FF7 songs in Smash Ultimate, I absolutely would have used J-E-N-O-V-A as the music for this stage since it sounds similar to Foregone Destruction.
I've been itching to get back into RCT2 lately, but I hate having to make a custom 'sandbox' scenario every time I want to make a park.
Then I eventually do, but I get bored of the map, or I put too much effort into it and it crashes, not to mention it takes forever.
Anybody have any suggestions on maps or downloadable scenarios?
I would love a couple options or different styles to try and play with. The more freedom with money and rides, the better. I don't usually play it for the challenge but the joy of creating something. It's relaxing to just sandbox, too.
i cant seem to find ghoul's world wad.

Some stuff i've been working on for the last couple of weeks. No, this is not Golden Souls 3 if you're wondering. It's just a side thing i'm making to learn a bit more of ACS, Zscript and whatever. It *might* become something like a GS2 "DLC" at some point.
That looks really god damned convincing, fucking ace.
Is there any more news on mod support for Doom Eternal? They said that they're trying to rework the engine to make it possible and glassdoor reviews mention overhauls to the tools and such.
Does anyone know what 3D software id used for Doom 3?
I've only just realized that they had characters that looked like THIS in 2001 when their competition didn't even know what a normal map was.
I can't quite make out any of the software from the making of documentary aside from Zbrush. Around 6:40 there's the software with the rigging and animation but I can't tell what it is.
Kenneth Scott, the lead artist, posted on twitter that they experimented with 3D scanning. I wonder if any of the models are still around today.
one shot had what looked like it could have been max or maya with the toolbar and timeline hidden
Most likely oldschool Maya

I remember when my dad got me a demo of this back when I was in elementary school. That particular version of Maya makes me feel nostalgic because of that.
HellForged released version 0.9
episode 1 fully playable
it is good day
Maya's interface makes me cry inside.
Also the game files contain ASE files, 3DS MAX's old ASCII format and tools for Maya importing. Clearly id were trying whatever they could use
id imagine theyre also the type of company to let their artists use whatever they were comfortable with
surprised to see people using zbrush so far back though
Yeah that's what shocked me. I can hardly find any info on Zbrush from 2001. What were animation studios using for their high poly models?
They were clearly inspired by CG movies, the always compared the graphics to pixar and the game's animations are in 24fps like movies

Yesterday, my cousin and I discovered that OpenRCT2 has cheats built in. We had a little fun with it.
This game's marketing is too good

This is an actual thing they're giving away.
