New concept art revealed via this month's giveaway page
they're doing the proper hellish gothic castle style?
sweet
the ones in D4 were a bit more natural terrain and decrepit looking
That gameplay they showed where they were talking about adding deep lore to hell was really awesome. There's supposedly creating different realms of hell with varying art styles like huge cult cathedral stuff, cybernetic body horror factories, hell on earth, abandoned battlefields.
That concept art reminds me more of Doom 3 brick-n-mortar hell, but I can't wait to see what kind of messed up technology the demons use to build their advanced realms.
The developers called it building a Doom Universe.
Is there a better quality version of the hell gate image?
Oh sweet, I won a Gore Nest Lithograph from the slayers club.
I've recently built a new powerful PC for myself and I'm trying out various games to see how they look on even higher settings than what I've used before, Wolf II being one of them, but I'm confused, aren't some of the graphical settings supposed to have "Mein Leben!" levels of intensity available? I'm not talking about the preset, btw, I swear I remember seeing somewhere that you could set the shadows (or whatever setting(s) it was) a step above Uber. Correct me if I'm wrong and if not, how can I enable these?
It's only the preset, Mein Leben uses Uber Image Streaming and Shadows, and Ultra uses Ultra on both. Maybe you're thinking of Doom 2016 with its Nightmare Shadows settings?
I already know about DOOM's Nightmare settings, I guess I just remember incorrectly about Wolf 2.
well, its annoying that every single giveaway is not available here
Apparently, DM-Gothic from UT99 was originally meant to be in the original Unreal according to this thread.
Apparently BFS has a few issues that still needs to be worked out, some minor but it may be jarring for OG Blood fans.

It makes me wonder if these can be forwarded to the Nightdive devs who made BFS, a paid release should at least be on par with quality and consistency to a free port of the game.
Does this mean that Atari don't even have the original source code at all? So we'll never get a truly accurate update?
Way to go geniuses, instead of following the trend of literally every other 2.5d FPS and releasing the source code you decided to be, well, Atari and be a bunch of out of touch corporate pricks.
It's not even an old source code or anything. Nightdive brought in Kaiser to basically recreate Blood in the Kex Engine, which is what the other Nightdive remasters run on. The reason there's so many bugs and inaccuracies is because it's recreating the game in another engine altogether through what I presume to be hand-done studying of the original product rather than strictly reverse-engineering on the Build engine like GDXBlood and so forth. That puts a huge hamper on accuracy.
I wouldn't be surprised if Atari's long since lost the source code. A lot of games from that era are in similar straits.
Strife Veteran Edition and System Shock Enhanced Edition seem fine to me.
