The Norway grand operation is already hot shit but realizing that the third day is basically an automatic win for the Axis just makes it even worse.

Really the biggest problem with grand ops is just that they're entirely decided by the last day. It turns the first three or four matches into meaningless time sinks, even more so if the last day is frontlines or final stand since those days themselves are determined completely by the last minute.

Does anyone have rounds that just... run worse?

something that they did that I really like is how on assault rifles (and I think all guns also), switching to semi reduces your first shot recoil by a lot. I think this mechanic is neat and I hope it gets carried over into future ( definitely modern setting) BF games. I always hated how in BF3 and 4 unless you were using a burst fire rifle the semi auto setting was kind of a joke since just tapping off one or two shots was more effective.

One of my first GO games was one where my team decisively won the first two phases then narrowly lost the final day and so lost overall. Haven't gone back to the game mode since. I don't know why they fucked with the formula when it worked fine in BF1.

I feel like it's not working correctly. A situation like that feels like it should trigger Last Stand, but in the like 20 GO matches I've played, I had Last Stand trigger once

I think GrOps is fun and immersive but it does need some tweaking and i've never once seen a Last Stand.

GrOps are fine when your team PTFO. Otherwise its a mindless grind if you're attackers any no one tries to flank or do any kind of pushing at all.

Yeah I'm just going to sit out this phase, I don't have the patience to deal with Battlefield V's garbage and Grand Ops terrible design at the same time.

Wow, this week's tides of war was crazy easy. The only reason it took me two grand ops to unlock the Ljungman is because the first challenge is to complete a grand op, everything else I managed to complete in a single op.

And also me, i5-7400 here, it's fucking ride between 60 and 30 fps. I again played Nordlys story for knife (of course didn't received this because challenge is bugged) and noticed problem with game lightning. the premium currency that you apparently can't use to buy weapon upgrades/anything useful? clearly a by EA to strave us of the games primary resource so we can buy a different one that doesn't even do the same thing

I have this problem in lots of games all the time, think I recall having it in BF1 too.

Fuck assignments, played 3 operations from beginning until end for the first step to trigger. Attacking is hopeless and a waste of time if you want to win. Got 1 out of 5 games as defender, played the first day and the teams got swapped.

It's so nice for the current assignments to remind us how much of a downgrade GO is compared to BF1's Ops

Ah the assignments can eat my fucking arse honestly. I've won so many rounds and won several grand operations tonight and fucking none of them have counted for the final gun unlock in the tides of war thing. So fucking dumb.

Guess i'm gonna have to upgrade my CPU soon then, just to play BFV lol, i don't mind when it hits 50fps as I play the console version but even so the xbox one x runs pretty smooth, kinda annoying I can play some intense graphical games, gtav, the witcher 3 and other stuff at high settings with no problems, there's only so much i can play at that frame rate

Yeah, I mean I need an upgrade in general, my ram is def holding me back as well, only on 8GB, and my specs I5-4690k, 8GB ram, gtx 1070 not the best but like i said other games seem to be fine, and the settings I tried from lowest to ultra and it'd still perform the same which is weird as it would just down to 50fps at certain parts

Might aswell give it a go, can't really do any harm i guess

God bless you my man, I did this along with upping the pagefile by a few gigs and I got a nice 20 FPS boost giving me consistent 60+ frames on all maps now

Was meant to actually ask, i'm not majorly tech savy, so can you guys give me a little help on the page file thing?

Ive noticed quite the performance boost when i swapped my completely broken HDD to SSD. Gained a solid 15-20 fps boost, when windows switched to SSD.
