Just beat DK's Classic, why doesn't everyone get a custom FD if they face master hand at the end? I would love if it applied to more people, but right now I'm pretty sure it only applies to DK.

Also, Mythra's censored version feels like a better looking design then her original, just because the black breaks the very pale/white of her look.

I'll believe it when I see it. I could see a DQ rep getting in if it wasn't for the fact the composer is a complete twat and would never let his music get in- so active cooperation seems like a fever dream at absolute best.
Gonna be honest, I'll be salty if (main leak info) we get a Dragon Quest rep in because Square Enix wants to market the series better overseas. No, shoving something into Smash is not an acceptable way to advertize. If they wanted Dragon Quest to catch on, they could've bothered localizing the actual games, advertizing them, making an effort to get them out there. Even FE had every game localized after Melee except New Mystery despite meager sales, and while we're talking about 'Smash promotion' I'm not particularly fond of how Xenoblade needed a huge campaign to get brought over to the US either, but at least it had a strong following before getting in Smash. My point is; it seems like a lame tactic to put a character in Smash in the hopes they'll be loved and their games bought solely because they're in Smash when SQ has really half-assed their attitude to the Western market on this front for a while. Maybe I'm only so angry because it's Square Enix doing it, I dunno. Or the fucking composer being a twat.
Oh and (minor leak info relating to supposed Joker pack content that is mentioned in the linked article) Jack Frost appearing as either an Assist Trophy or stage hazard... Hey, it's probably a good sign for more well-rounded SMT content sneaking into the DLC pack, which I'm on board for. Even just one song for each notable SMT game would result in some real bangers getting in.

It seems more like a cult hit in the west. A lot of people get turned off by just how intensely old school it is in gameplay from what I've seen and personally experienced.
Late reply but I'm pretty sure that this is the case because MM already had the same rating as Smash Ultimate, and Fates and Xenoblade 2 were rated higher.
